The problem with nepotism isn't a person simply gaining advantage or priviledge due to known or respected parents, its gaining advantage and not proving you deserve that. It's not hard to understand that family legacy and shared traits/talents are a thing. Children of talented parents often share those latent talents. They also grow up around it, to a much greater extent than someone coming from the outside. You wouldnt accuse a young carpenter joining the 3 generation family business as nepotism. He probably had the type of connections in the industry at age 8, that most working actors take decades to cultivate I'm sure there were auditions and scripts that came to him, solely because the producer has known his family for years. Being a nepo baby doesn't give you a career (atleast not in hollywood, it's different in other countries), but it does make things easier
