- If you couldn't go to, or didn't know about, Home Gym Con 2024 in French Lick, IN, I'm not gonna lie. You missed out! Luckily, I've got you covered! I shot hours of video and hundreds of still images.
There's a lot more to come here on the channel, but I wanted to start with a wrap-up video while everything was still fresh in my mind.
Here, I try to take you through the convention as if you'd attended by sharing my favorite vendors, products, people, and the biggest surprises.
If you are considering going in 2025, this video should help you decide. And if you are going to go, the earlier you buy your tickets, the less expensive they'll be!
Follow: / garagegymexperiment for details on early bird savings and upgraded ticket packages.
I am not affiliated with Home Gym Con, but I do already have my tickets for next year! I hope to see you all there! - Спорт
One thing I left out (the vid was already really long!) is all the competitions. Grip competitions, strong man comp, Oly lifting comp, and a deadlift party. My friend, John over at the Garage Gym Life channel live streamed almost all of them and has great coverage on his channel if you are interested!
Tim! It was so awesome to meet you in person and having dinner together! Love this wrap-up...nicely done sir!
Thanks man! Really appreciate that. How your events ran was a big part of how fun the weekend was!
21:19 Thank you so much for showing us some love! We really appreciated you swinging by to chat and give some feedback about our products.
Of course! Tell Randy and Jason at Abt to start buying your better products!!!😂
Nice recap, Tim. you can tell your passion and enthusiasm about the home gym community as well
Thanks! Having a home gym has literally saved my life on 3 different occasions (I probably will tell those stories here one day). I really do love this stuff and the people around it!
I'm hoping that one of these years they'll have Home Gym Conn in Boston.
Great shoutout to Body-Solid by the way! They're very underrated. They always stood out to me as being the pioneers of serious home gym equipment 30+ years ago. Back in the day, it was unheard of for someone having a leg press/hack squat machine in their gym. I believe that they were the first ones to come out with that back in the mid-90's- which I was proud to finally have one in 1998! If it wasn't for Body-Solid, I don't think that there would be as many home gym equipment companies out there; especially Titan, seeing as they "borrowed" alot of their designs. Sorry for fan-boying. Lol!
Great video and insights!
Thanks! I was definitely impressed by their stuff. Plus they've been around longer than almost anybody else that was at the show, and that's saying a lot! I love it when people have enthusiasm for stuff that they like, and appreciate your comment!
Thanks for actually talking about the equipment there. It’s nice hearing of your experience. I watched that garage gym guy talk about how he almost didn’t go. Who invited him? The people he met. His experience with the booths design. I thought he was going to talk about the equipment at the show for 20 minutes. The only thing he talked about. Was stuff he already did a video on. LOL
Thanks! A lot of people were talking about how many Insta and YT people were there who didn't really take advantage of the opportunity. Literally almost any product you could ever want to put your hands on and unrestricted access. After hours there were only two people there, me and Matt Porter (@porterphysed on Insta). I was there running camera for another UA-camr (John from Garage Gym Life - he did some very good interviews and gear overviews) so didn't get to shoot anything for myself until late anyway. I'm already planning out next year and Home Gym Con After Hours is going to be a big part of it. I've got maybe 5 more overviews I shot and as soon as I get a chance to edit them, you'll see them posted!
Thanks - I've been waiting for decent Home Gym Com coverage!
Thank you! Hope I covered it okay for you!
Love your genuine enthusiasm for home gymcon, it really shows.
Thanks! I really did have a blast, and I worked a solid 16 hours each day. I can't imagine how much fun it would have been to just go as a fan!
Nice vid Tim! Sounded like an awesome experience!
Thanks! It really was. So fun to spend time around others that are as big a nerd as you are about a common interest!
Dude, that was a great overview video. I remember liking most of the things you talked about on the gram.
Thanks! Today was day one for vendor sign ups for 2025 and it's already looking amazing!
Your authentic. I like that.
Thank you!
That was amazing 🤯 💪🏼
Thank you!
I made it onto your channel already!!!
Yes you did, sir! Couldn't have talked about the people there without including you!
@@GymCrafter Likewise brother! See ya in 2025 unless we cross paths in the Mid central lol
Them well deserved views are coming in Tim, buckle up!
THank you!
Thanks I enjoyed this! Hope to attend in the future!
Thanks! You should! Next year is already looking like it's going to one up this year! Jake has put together a really cool thing.
You gotta be there next year in Louisville! It's an amazing weekend.
@@BodySolidFit I already have my ticket!
Great post
Thank you!
Very Nice Video
Thank you!
I spotted you in one of REP’S videos!
No way! I'll have to look for that!
They don't make bigger shirts and you're just 7' tall!
😁😉
ATX is great. I always recommend them to people in Europe who ask for recommendations for quality equipment. Excited to see what they bring out here. Hopefully some offerings others don’t or can’t make.
And just feedback that I’ll probably take heat for but I know you like to drop your height a lot which is great and you should be proud of it. But the short jokes here were a miss for me and just kinda seemed like a subtle flex about your height which is unnecessary since you talk about being 6’6 all the time.
You know I never even thought it would come across that way. It's an inside joke with both Gluck and Goob that they are short in real life. I gave both of them a hard time about it at the show and it's a running joke with lots of people and them. No ill will intended, and I would never make that joke about somebody without it being an inside joke that they already knew about. But thanks for pointing it out, I didn't realize it might come across that way and hopefully this clears the air.
love the Frige savages. My first set was their bladk bumper but I have pick up 2 Paris of the 45 savages when they had their site update sale. I will slowly change out the black to the savages when I got the funds. Right now the ares 2.0 and the repxpeppin dumbbell are on my wish list
THat's a solid wish list!
13:20 Did you say Rep brought the new Athena? Did you mean like a 2.0 version or like an updated version?
Gah! I have so many products floating around in my head. I think I was talking about the Ares 2.0 cable system. Not the Athena. They has so much new stuff there, it was hard to keep track of it all. Sorry if I misspoke and caused confusion.
When is atx coming to America?
They said 12-18 months.
