I just found your channel and am in love! I’m an RN now, but many years ago, I was not & my husband had lost his job; so I started flipping different items and selling them, and girl you may not believe this, but we actually paid our bills out of it for several months. I miss flipping items and am highly considering doing it again. I adore bringing pieces back to life ♥️
Thanks for watching! I totally believe it. I have been at my regular job for 25 years and I am almost making as much with my crafting job as I do there.
Great flips you do a wonderful job on all your items. I have not used the inlays yet but would love to give them a try. I love the vintage look the give the items.
All your projects were just stunning. I'm just getting back into flipping after being away from this craft for a good while. I'm so glad I found you as I'm learning a lot from you. Can't wait to see more amazing projects you flipped!!
I am a new subscriber, and know I'll be watching you forever now that I just discovered your channel. Loved everything you did, but the coffee table was the clear winner.
Just an idea...but when you respray the inlay to remove it perhaps wait a minute or two before removing. Maybe that is why your inlay sometimes doesn't transfer....love your work!
Love those tables! Great finds on those! Thanks for showing us differences in wax-no wax, problems with transfers, dog leg issue, etc. Things to watch for if we are DIYing. All are beautiful.
I just found you! I loved the two tables and the dog and all of it! Those paint in lays scare the bajeebers out of me. Yours is beautiful! Love that with the apothecary ♥️
Hi Susie Greetings from South Africa! Just discovered your channel last night and now I'm binge watching. Love your work! You are talented and inspiring.
Any water based wax will reactivate the paint a bit and possibly wipe a bit off. But I always think it leaves a really pretty distressed look that came naturally, so it only adds to the look for me. But if you want to prevent it, just add a bit of sealer to your projects first, then wax. I know this occurs a good bit with Waverly waxes. Idk so much about DIY wax.
I love all your projects- they are all beautiful! DIY paint & wax are the only thing I use. I have tried many brands of paint over the years & DIY is by far the best. Your tables with the inlay’s looked wonderful. I’ve been nervous to try them myself but I did just get the new release inlay & am planning on using it soon. Thank you for sharing all your wonderful thrift flips!
Love what you do, always. The mirror is so pretty, love the green! I tried to put an IOD transfer on glass, it wouldn't transfer. My mistake? Thank you ❤
Hi Susie I just saw your thrift flips. I enjoyed all your work and I was wondering where you had found your transfers and the pieces you used on the coffee table?
Love 'em all! I'm curious to know how long did it take for the last two tables to sell? Also, why do you choose paper towels over cloth when using wax? TIA
Omgosh, I love that hound! Gotta get that mold. It's my first time here, and I noticed your wonderful southern accent. What beautiful southern state are you from? I'm in South Carolina.
@@susieonthefarm Awesome! I haven't visited there, but have known many people from there, and have heard it's a great state. Well, you've got a new subscriber and great job on your projects!

The inlays are a process but once you do them a few time they aren't as scary. I still mess them up from time to time. Thanks for watching!

It gets much easier with practice! The best advice I can give is be sure you use a liberal amount of paint evenly. Good luck and thanks so much!

Awesome! Thank you!
Stumbled onto your channel just subscribe.
Caught my eye 🙃
THank you so much Belinda! I hope you enjoy
I found sticking mold in freezer helps with delicate items, not my idea, saw on another UA-cam channel
I need to try that. Do you put them in the freezer after turning them out or before?
That's what I do...it works...💞
@@susieonthefarm put them in the freezer before you remove them from the moulds...that's what I do and it works for me...happy crafting...

A little hint about the tiny dots replacement. Glue split peas to the space and paint over. No one will know.
Oh my gosh!! That long mirror is everything! 💚 What would you say your ratio is on your homemade white wax? Thank you!
It only takes 2 or 3 drops of the white paint.
@@susieonthefarm Thank you 😀
Hi Susie I just saw your thrift flips. I enjoyed all your work and I was wondering where you had found your transfers and the pieces you used on the coffee table?

Thank you. The tall table sold within a couple days. I ended up keeping the coffee table for my basement living area. (for now anyway)

lots of elbow grease! Then by the time I got the moulds and paint on you couldn't see it.
So how do you buy stuff if you're in another state out of your booth like that long mirror that you made
I'm sorry I am not able to ship yet. I may eventually do a website to sell my creations. The long mirror sold quick.
