Watched the episode with Cannibalis again
The look of disbelief and regret on his face just shows not all peacekeepers were cold hearted. The way he kept pressuring the former pilot shows his respect for the symbiotic relationship between pilots and leviathan, for he rathered her to submit rather than replace.
Wouldn't it be cool if, after killing the pilot, the captain would notice that the doors don't open on their own anymore and he'd have to push it open himself.
Somehow, Moya didn't just open a hole to vacuum a vent the entire group.

That peacekeeper captain has very little patience. It would be terrifying to work under someone like him.

Isn’t it odd that every male Peacekeeper outfit they get fits John like a glove.
With all the advanced alien technology the Peacekeepers have, you'd think they'd have developed better video quality than this.

Just a plot device, so there is a clear distinction between archive footage, and not. But, yeah, they could have put in watermark time counters or something.

Crais is a monster, as bad as Scorpius or worse. The show makes you forget it.

"I was just following orders" it really hits hard when you know the full context. Not saying it is right, just saying that a single individual cannot stop a tide. And martyrs are just that. To be forgotten or used to other's ends.

Verb.
To kill someone because of their beliefs

@@Skiltonius Right? he does so much for the crew, yet when they go to lop of one of his beautiful arms to give to that monster Namtar, Zhaan, D'argo & Rygel feel they need to implore or to tell him to think of others & proceed to call him selfish. All he ever does is think of others: them & Moya & when he comes along, Talyn. It's why he deserves a kiss as well as his cheek to be stroked.

@@Serin9X It is a good show, some of it is overdrawn and over acted but that was typical of science fiction shows at the time on TV. Looking back on it, there is a lot of predictable plot devices and tropes, as well as some annoying characters, but if you liked Star Trek you may like this one. I have seen this listed on Amazon Prime in the past as free, dunno if it still is.
