It was a sad day when this series ended. Loved the story, the cast, the show.
I'm just so glad we got Peace Keeper Wars, if it had ended where it was initially cancelled...

I still use them on occasion. Used them a few times happily when I met a bunch of the cast last winter. :)
I've been in several Zoom chats with her and other fans, and she uses them in ordinary conversation, too! It made me giddy. :D

@@TomMSTie1138 It absolutely frelling is! She's also just really fun to chat with about life and such. I particularly love it when her young daughter comes in to join the conversation. She looks a lot like a mini Gigi, it's uncanny.
Miss this show greatly... When Ben got onto stargate and he was about to go through the gate for the first time i imagined Scorpius to march into the gate room and yell "Crichton give me wormholes!"
No, but he DID show up in Star Wars. He's playing Tarkin for that distance shot at the end of revenge of the sith. And GODS he would have killed it in the role.

@@JnEricsonx I'd love to meet him too, but he doesn't do many American cons nowadays. Meeting him would give me the same amount of joy as when I met Christopher Eccleston at my local comic con 2 years ago.

think about that. if this was the 1980s a 25 year old show would be 1955. its weird how things don't seem so old now when they are.
One of the best aspects of Farscape's writing is that all the actors had work to do in every episode, all had parts to play in every story. Pilot, was my absolute favorite character. And let's not forget that the living spacecraft Moya wasn't forgotten as a character also. Pilot was so beautifully performed and written that it was easy to forget he was an animatronic puppet.
The Rygel puppet took some convincing but the superb character performance by the late Jonathan Hardy was a class act.

Great selection of episodes from Ben & Gigi. Even though the series has been finished for over 20 years. You can still see the love & passion they both have for the series.
It's nice to see some of the actors again. I'm always amazed by Gigi's performance as Chiana. I think she got to spread her wings a lot in that series that she wouldn't necessarily get on a standard TV series.
I tried an episode of Rescue: Special Ops and suddenly realized frell me, that's Chiana!
"Out of the Box" is such a perfect way to describe this show and why I love it more than any other sci-fi show. Pretty much every other sci-fi show that takes place in space is fairly "human" feeling. Farscape does the best job at giving the viewer an extra terrestrial experience. From the costumes, makeup and character designs, to the music sounding so alien and even the editing and cinematography, no other show does it better. Another good example is Through the Looking Glass episode, where Moya splits into multiple dimensions.
so great to see farscape again
Farscape was as surreal as it was genius. There are so many shows that followed in the last 25 years that owe its success to that show for the simple reason they proved it could be done. That Ben and Claudia were able to work together again on Stargate SG-1 made it all the more special.

Possibly one of the best sci fi shows ever made! I'd put it up against anything anyone has ever done. I still watch the show on Pluto! It's stories stand the test of time, and Peacekeeper Wars is still one of the best endings of a series ever done! Loved it!
Revenging Angel was and still is one of my favorite Farscape episodes
Mine as well, disturbing and comical at the same time.
Strange, it's an ep I always skip on rewatches.
I didn't care for it at first, but people I hung out with on the forums made me see it differently. It grew on me.
One of the most crazy, inventive, emotional and beautiful shows ever made. I hope it's left alone, fondly remembered, and not brought back, especially given the current state of "modern" TV

Ben , GiGi, hell, the rest of the cast, are still the best. Jim and Rockne, if someone ever gives you the money to make another season/series, I'm gonna be there. So will many people all over the world.

Every time I see something on Farscape and think about the state of 21st Century Sci-Fi I just have to say, "We're so frelled!"

25 years, it's hard to believe!...but even now for me the animated episode remains a masterpiece!
Just yesterday i felt like watching Farscape, and today this pops up on UA-cam with a place i can watch. Perfect timing.
I absolutely loved that Loony Tunes ep. Never laughed so much. Farscape was my favorite show. At least they gave us an ending with the Peacekeeper Wars. Missed them when it ended.

Love this Series Just Started Re Watching it and Still Love it
What an amazing show.
There are very few TV shows that I think are special enough to buy, and Farscape is one of them. I’ve got the entire series and the peacekeeper wars. What’s crazy is I never watched this show when it was on TV, so I caught it when reruns came out. Saw a few episodes and then never watched it again until just recently; but it was unique enough that it grabbed my attention. I just binged watched the entire series on Amazon and it is one of the best sci-fi shows ever made. The characters are so well written and acted by the entire crew, and the entire storyline has so much depth for each character.
The other TV shows that are on the level of quality as Farscape are Quincy and Burn Notice. I know those are completely different genres, but I had to mention them due to the level of detail by the creators, and the right actors and actresses to play their parts. It’s pretty magical.

I won't lie i had some seriously major fantasies with Chiana( Gigi Edgley). I hope she was able to feel it from her world. lol. It was actually a really good series, a little weird to understand sometimes but good. It sucked how they ended it and left it open really. I hate when they do that and they do it all too much.
What legends :) Im so glad the series got a decent conclusion in the telemovie.
For those of us, who caught it when it aired the final scene of season for, Jon and Arin in the boat!😢😢😢😮😮😮😮😮 Thank God "Peace Keeper Wars" came along. Still sad, but not like that other shot. Not that being the end of things.

It's especially interesting that Farscape is a must watch along with Star Trek, Star Gate, Lexx and Babylon 5. I personally love and Andromeda too.

Thank you for this video. It was great to see Ben & Gigi. In this crazy world we live in today, the stakes feel as high as they did in most Farscape episodes... but I much prefer Farscape to this crappy reality. I truly miss the show and all the characters. I have rewatched the series, I think, four times. I "scaped" my wife and son many years ago. I think the creators of the show missed a great opportunity to continue Farscape with a really high-quality animated series. The actors could have handled the voice work and if money was an issue for the show being cancelled, certainly an animated version would have been extremely cheap by comparison. The teasing of a continuation over the past 20 or so years has amounted to false hope after false hope. I see all these Pop figures of characters I have no idea who they are, and I look in vain for Farscape. I would buy those in a second. A Pop figure of Scorpy or Pilot or Aeryn, to name just three, wow, that would be so cool to put on my bookcase.
Very sad the final season 5 never got made! This was a show ahead of its time!

Can we hope against hope that there will be an alien re-visitation from our friends on the Farscape project in the offing? The demand for content has never been greater, and the crew from Moya have a built in fan base ready to go for another XX seasons! Seems like resuming this show would be a real no-brainer -I know I'm hooked. I wonder how many familiar characters will be waiting in the Diagnosan's freezer for re-animation should Moya, Pilot and the Crichton family ever return?

@@johnmc2514 Who's to say that Rygel XVI wouldn't be staying in Hyneria after being restored as Dominar? It could be written that Rygel's progeny, Prince Rygel XVII, joins the Moya crew instead - because his father think he's a spoiled brat who needs to learn more about life that he can learn while being waited on hand and foot by the Dominar's servants.

I love Farscape yet knew it was doomed. It was so imaginative, dark yet heroic, simply too epic to last before some toad of a TV executive came along and cancelled it.
Come on Brian Henson and James Gunn give us a proper Season 5 of Farscape! Please.
or at the very least a mini series, or movie of some sort. Hell I'd take a GOOD video game set in the Farscape universe at this point.

Is there any truth to the rumour they're bringing Farscape back? Not as a reboot, but a literal continuation of the series.
The loony tunes episode was one of the funniest things I ever saw==and even though I understand what's going on, I still have a moment where my mind goes 'what the HELL am I watching?'.

If they're going to ever do a reboot a Farscape it will have to be on the Silver Screen and at least 10 movies that was one of the main reasons they canceled it you can't skimp on quality you could have took any of the episodes put it into a two and a half hour length and put it in a movie theater and nobody would have thought it was a TV show the videography the cinematography was that good....

The Looney Tunes episode really was priceless. And I loved the cast. But that was the last season I watched. It pissed me off and I never forgave it.
The episode where Chricton has the black stuff in his brain and he says to keep to the memory of his dogs if the surgeon can was bad ass.

It is tough to see the actors age so much; this is why I tend to go back to the older seasons and them as they were once were (to remember thrm in their prime). Again, that is not to say that Ben Browder and Claudia Black cannot reprise their previous roles but it wouldn't be the same as in thr first season. 😮😮💨☺️🥲
That this show got canceled is proof hollywood has zero clue whats good and whats trash.
i had one huge frustration with the show, being that you could never trust what happened. but aside from that it was so fun, had a ton of heart, and was simply original in just about every aspect.

Yup, he's 61 now. An article from Wikipedia shows a photo of him from 2018 (six years ago as of 2024), where he still looks nearly the same as he did during Farscape. But it's not easy to keep form like that at this age.
From the regular cast, two are in their seventies, five in their sixties, five in their fifties. There is no age information about Rebecca Riggs (Grayza); but she shouldn't be too much older or younger. Gigi Edgley is the youngest at 46 - she was only 22 when she joined the cast in 1999. Melissa Jaffer (Noranti) is 87.
Jonathan Hardy (the voice of Rygel) passed away in 2012 at 71 years of age. He would have turned 84 this year.
