An attacker can drive the ball just enough between defenders and beyond GK reach for tap-ins, there’s nothing even a GK in his prime can do anything about it.

Half the goals were tap ins that he couldn't really do anything about, he still made several key saves to keep Spain out, and it's not his fault that their forwards couldn't do anything.
