- If you've been following Stevi's story, you'll know that she qualified to run at the 2021 Pink Buckle Barrel Race, which is a 2.7 million dollar race. Gracie and the gang packed up last week and headed down to Guthrie Oklahoma to see if all the work they'd done to get Stevi back in competition shape had finally paid off. Can Stevi and Gracie bring back some of that $2.7 million pie?

Hi just a tip after running a horse hard I learned if I walked them around for 15-30 min right after run my horse performed way better on multiple run days because by doing that their muscles don’t cramp up I learned that from a friend in the race horse industry

Do you have a chiropractor that she sees due to back pain?? Did you have to learn how to release back pain??
We do have a vet that does chiropractic, as well as me doing joint mobilizations, and soft tissue work.

I am not sure. The girls have their own braiding business, so they typically buy their own clothes.

I love watching barrel racing just a quick question why do you have to hit the horse to run faster I mean they are doing there best to please you. I have been watching fallen Taylor she is heavy on head Safety don't you want to consider head Safety
As a rider I can say most horses have thick skin and they don't feel it really it would be more like if someone gave you a pat on the back and for the helmet thing it's not common in the western world as time goes on it may become more popular or it may not it all depends and they are not abusing the horses by pushing them on horses don't always know when they are aloud to fully cut loose and run they get the correct care and are appreciated for what they do nothing in this video was wrong or abusive and helmets are not mandatory in fact as Fallon Taylor has said they are not aloud in victory laps
@@alisonharvey3580 horses actually have thinner skin then humans! so if you can feel it they can, horses are just rly well at hiding pain.
Some horses don't put forth 100% effort all of the time, thus it is a way for us to hustle the horse and let him know we are needing everything he or she has to offer on that run home. As for the helmets, Gracie used to wear a helmet, but like the other comment states, they are not very popular in the western sports. Gracie felt like she wanted to wear a hat when she became a teenager.
