This was so touching. I was very sad to hear her disappointment and what seemed to be "harsh" comments about the teenage boys... and their mom. So happy that you dug deeper and found the greater truth. I love it so much.
You never know, why people are led to commit crimes! Lillias's husband died and she had no other choice but to steal to feed her kids! Back then, there were no resources for willowed women to get help for their families! So glad that today; there are services for women to participate in! Food banks, shelter, education and work programs! Save the children! 🙏
How do you get this information? I would love to know my Family's background. This is My Favorite Show. Keep them coming. Watching some older one's now on UA-cam❣️
Just watched the whole episode on TV. But can’t seem to find the episode on my IPAD. So firstly someone needs to tell this lady its now a badge of honour to have an Australian Convict in ones linage. And also my condolences to FINDING YOUR ROOTS family on the loss of Johni Cerny.
Peoplelike to make excuses for their criminal behaviour but its always a choice. Personal responsibility an accoutability is the only way the chain is broken
Check all of them, my mother told me.I have an Araucano last name and I.am Puertorrican, the school principal caledl my mother because I did not check the Negro Box on the card given to all students. This was in Westchester County New York in 1955 .0
😏 When I was still in grade school and the "boxes" were to be checked I refused to check any. So, the teacher sent me home with an envelope for my mother. She did whatever she needed to do and sent it back. My teacher was very sweet and asked me why I didn't check "Caucasian". I told her I didn't check anything because I'm Finnish and that wasn't on there. This may have been second or third grade. It took me years to understand what Caucasian meant.
She seems like a very nice person but everyone doesn't have beauty. Beauty is rare, Lupita N'yongo, Sophia Loren, Amara la Negra, Salma Hayek, Iman, Marilyn Monroe, etc...those are exceptional looking women. Soledad is an average looking woman and there's nothing wrong with that.
@@lf1496 Black men seem to find Ms. O'Brien attractive, I never could understand why, because she is average and nothing particularly stands out. I just chalked it up to her light/white skin being the reason why so many black men found her appealing.

Her voice is really soothing

Amen to that... 😇

So happy I found my favorite program!!!!!
She is just gorgeous
Whatever floats your boat.
For reals she is fine💗

Whatever is your problem?
Arse pick 🙄
When they dove deeper her perspective changed.
She's australian she shouldn't be so surprised haha
She is not
@Yeti Manetti She is born & bred in US that’s all that matters. nothing else.
Excellent show. You never know who you are related too. I bet Soledad never thought in a million years that her and Steven Cobert are cousins.

I think you can apply to this show, they don't only research celebrities. they use the archives and dna testing.
😂😂 her reaction is hilarious

Not full episode from beginning to end why?
She talks as if Prof Henry Higgins was teaching Eliza Doolittle how to annunciate with an American accent.
Edinbro Scotland 😂😂😂
Edinburgh would have been a really tough place to live back in these days of 1818
I believe the term is hustling. 😉
HEY, REMEMBER THAT TIME YOU GOT ARRESTED ?
yeah, great times to laugh about
As soon as I realized her dad was Australian, I knew something like that was going to come up!

Oliver Twist!
This lady seems shrewd. I'm not surprised, lol
There were a lot of inferences made there. Instead of making up stuff to make it interesting, how about be fine with not knowing?

Runs in the family...
Dont tell me now your necklace is from your fam...😐
She is fine
Her Irish relatives immigrated to Australia, like many Irish did to the US.
Forced immigration
Ain’t she fine!
You should've seen her when she hosted television shows on C-NET Central back-in-th'-day! :)

@@dk7613 Answer: She look completely like a white woman.
Ring a bell now?
Excuses😆😆
You knew right from the start she was going to inject the feminist angle. LOL
Yeah... this was cringey to watch.
