I love your videos, Joey. Wildwood is my "home away from home". I've been visiting the island since I was a little girl, and 45+ years later, my family and I continue the tradition. It's so nice to see all the new places and things we can look forward to. Thanks for always keeping us updated!
I would've loved to keep the tradition alive as well, but my family (as well as most of my extended family: uncles, aunts and cousins), moved to Florida many years ago.
It is our home away from home also. My family grew up in Kensington and we had a place in Berks county we went in the summer and 2 weeks in Wildwood. 8th and Ocean the silver sands. Now we stay at the Horizon and we've been there for years. Wildwood is my Disney only it's Morey's not Mickey. And I love this channel.
As someone who was born and raised there on Baker Ave and now in Philadelphia I Miss the old. Goin home to visit my family all over the island is different when everything has changed. But am happy to see progress in my hometown. If only there were winter activities to help with boredom I would have stayed. Keep up the good work on reporting on a great place. Love the Boardwalk fries and funnel cake💛
Great Reporting as usual JOEY & JULIA 👏 👍 Love hearing about ALL efforts being done in Ukraine along with both you and Julia's love for families abroad as well as your efforts on a daily basis Both here and there.. Love The New Store Fronts along with all construction 🚧 being done to keep the shore a place to remember for All of our generations to enjoy.. Thank you for all you do!!!!!! "GOD BLESS US ALL" 🙏
Was there this past summer. I stayed in the Acacia, next summer we’ll stay at the Icona (it’s gorgeous) I feel so lucky to live in New Jersey and I don’t have to go far for a beautiful vacation. Love the videos thank you 😊
Most followers will not know what I'm referring to: So happy to see the marble competition pads have been saved. A throwback to the 50s and a part of Wildwoods heritage.
Joey awesome information I shall be thre in July this time a switch from labor day wknd I'm planning on coming dwn. For car show/Irish festival which I have missed past few years
Oh, but what fond, summer memories I have of Wildwood, NJ! I haven't been back there last, since I was a kid in the early 80's and still living in New York. What a magical place as a child, when the world still seemed innocent and Santa existed. The smells of peanuts roasting, chocolates and assorted sweets, French fries, popcorn and cotton candy, combined with the salt ocean air. The sounds of people talking and laughing, while hearing the ubiquitous _"Watch the tramcar, please,"_ from the Sightseer's speakers; which, by the way, I never rode on and not by choice (however a boardwalk is made for walking, especially for a healthy youngster with much energy to burn)! The cries of seagulls in the background, whilst baseballs were being thrown, attempting to knock over pins, balloons popping from thrown darts which found their mark (for prizes, usually stuffed plush animals), added to the carnival atmosphere. Folks screaming to the thrill of riding the old wooden roller-coaster, along with other rides, and the "Haunted House" I never got a chance to go into, dang it! Oh, boy, but to be a kid again!!
We love Wildwood. We live in Central Jersey, about 2 hr 45 North and we make the trip every summer. Wildwood Crest is definitely the place to be. Even during the plandemic, we had a great time in WW.
Great video! Do you know why Johnson’s popcorn closed? There always seem to be a line when I was there. A long one at that. And that motel that’s being renovated, do you happen to have any footage of that or know where I can find some? Thank you.
Julie, I am attempting to do some research on the demographics of West Wildwood, particularly west of the Railroad tracks in the W. Baker Ave. area from 1900 to 1950. Appreciate any reviews about this.
Looking forward to my trip there next month! It's been years since I've gone. Does anyone know how to get discounted tickets to Morey Piers or a discount code?
Great video Joey I'm sure Julia is there also so great job to your wife also. Do you know if the flags have been replaced yet. I'm hoping to be back in Wildwood again soon. My wife who is Filipina wants to see other places this summer and all my kids want is Wildwood. When your raised as Wildwood lifer you are what you are. Everyone have a great summer and support the channel and support Wildwood this summer. And please never forget what is happening in Ukraine.
Hi Joey, can you explain how the tram car will travel along the new boardwalk design? I use a mobility scooter and love the cement to ride on but now it seems the boards will make it a bumpier ride. Thanks!

Santucci's is actually on the Wildwood side of 26th street
While that is true, folks always get confused when we tell them it's in Wildwood. To be safe we just tell them it's in North Wildwood
