V8 engines make so much power so easily why make it difficult for yourself trying to make 4000hp when a v8 will with twin 88s will provide. From youtube college I've learned that there are 25 cars I have seen producing 4000-4800hp with street styled blocks with full billet or top fuel style these v8s make 8000-9500hp commonly.
+Mr EJ KILL awd doesn't mean anything in terms of winning. Rwd is superior in drag racing. Yes, awd will help with traction especially in races like this but rwd > awd in drag racing
Why bother when you can get something more affordable to do the exact same thing with less cams and less valves? What's really funny is there's a $10k LS vs Coyote build contest on UA-cam and the LS easily won when it ended up with 100 more ft/lb of torque. Haha!
