Hi, again, pal. Sadly, David Soul passed away last year 😔; R.I.P. Starsky & Hutch's car was a 1975 Ford Grand Torino; ¡what a car! I always wanted a poster of the series to put on my bedroom wall; any memorabilia, of course toys. Starsky & Hutch was a hit all over the world, in fact, here in Monterrey, Mexico, 2 girls at that time formed a fan club and recreated the episodes; A local newspaper did a report on them approximately 10 years ago.Good this edition and greetings. 5-4
1:47 My older brother had the dashboard! He got it for Christmas back in '77 and we both played with it a lot over the years. I especially remember the hand-crank siren (not a bullhorn- Junkman!) because it used to drive my mom nuts if we used it in the house, and she kept having to take it away... I don't remember a sticker on the horn- and I never knew it was from _Starsky and Hutch_- otherwise I definitely remember this growing up!
I still have my Corgi brand die-cast car. It was the only toy I had from Starsky and Hutch. I watched the show but can't recount one episode. I saw the Owen Wilson movie and thought it was OK.
Junkman Junkman Junkman, I totally remember Stars ky and Hutch! What a great show! I still remember someone who lived by us had their Ford Torino, I think it was a a Ford Torino painted up just like the show. I wanted that car so bad!
Both 'Starsky and Hutch' and 'Kojak' was really popular on prime time T.V. in the UK on BBC TV in the 70's, Incidentally Paul Michael Glaser and Antonio Fargas made guest appearances in 'Kojak' episodes also.
My mom was really uptight, too. :) As Catholic and as super religious she was, it's a wonder she didn't succumb to the Satanic panic or anything like that. :)
I had that car in the thumbnail with the twist on light. I also had that Corgi die-cast car. It always bugged me that the stripe didn't go all the way over the front tire!
This made me think if you ever did an episode about cap guns. Kids don’t seem to play with them anymore I guess because they have real guns now? But I still have a couple of those little keychain cap guns. Me and my brother used to have so much fun shooting each other with them
Junk man comma have you ever seen the music video by a band called The Barenaked ladies where the General Lee and the Starsky and Hutch car are chasing each other around in it? It came out in the late 90s early 2000s.
Dude that would be killer you should definitely do a video on tag the assassination game. I don't know how many people actually played it but we played it lol
Both your parents are wrong, Matlock is the best police show. :) I never saw the TV show, all I saw was the movie. At least I was able to avoid the Dukes of Hazzard movie. Thanks for the video
Hey My Man The Junkman I have Mego Captain Doobey Mego action Figure in the Card and a Plastic Co!sectors Bag which I bought last August when I was still living in Florida How much do you think its worth ? Now I live Texas since The end of December have you ever been to Texas ? If so where can get 1970s Star Wars Kenner action Figures or any Retro action Figures here in Texas?
My dad was a fan of the show when it was first on... My older brother had a bunch of the toys (including the dashboard) and some View-Master reels if I remember correctly.
KOJAK slapped on his light too !

The creepy guy, who lived in the corner of town where the buses didn't run, had, what he called the Exclusive Starsky and Hutch Chloroform Kit.
One of my favorite songs is "Don't Give Up On Us", sung by David Soul.

In 1980 you could have bought the full Mego line for $1 each at Toys r us. I had almost all of the figures. They had really well done outfits
Starsky & Hutch was the OG Dukes of Hazzard. LoL🤣

Okay that last radio at the end would get you slapped by Starskey and Hutch.

I really wish i could've relieved my childhood in the 70's and 50's as well as the 80's. Great era's.
Never had the toys, and my mom was shocked to hear foul language as an adult.
My mom was really uptight, too. :)

@tperson8347 Ahhhhh MOTU and Transformers are demonic. Yep that sounds about right.
I still have my Mego Starsky and Hutch action figures. I loved that show in the days of way back! 👊👍
Hugie Bear was a legend
The car was a 76 Ford Gran Torino
I had that car in the thumbnail with the twist on light. I also had that Corgi die-cast car. It always bugged me that the stripe didn't go all the way over the front tire!
Wow Junkman those toys are amazing so thanks for a fantastic video
@2:15, Junkman, it's Spanish, and says "the private investigators." I should be the unofficial Junkman half-latino translator...
Ford Gran Torino
I remember the show
@8:45, I think "vu a la tv" is French for "as seen on tv." My French is weak. I only took 1 year in high school almost 30 years ago.

Lmao ❤
If you have trouble telling them apart Hutch is the top and Starsky is the bottom.
I love your show but please. The Starsky & Hutch movie was classic. I think it was the last funny movie I ever saw before woke crap took over.
Me and my buddy Russ went to see and both almost left and that dude likes almost anything :)
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a whole episode of Starsky & Hutch, but I like those actors in other stuff I’ve seen them in.
My dad was a fan of the show when it was first on... My older brother had a bunch of the toys (including the dashboard) and some View-Master reels if I remember correctly.
@ I’ll see if my brother has the DVDs.
I remember I did have a Dukes of Hazzard t-shirt when I was about 3.
My dad liked Columbo.
