We put this animatic together in just one night - it was definitely a real learning process, and a lot of fun! (Though you'll never catch me going quite so long without a break from drawing nonstop again, HAH).
Bunny is very special to us and it was a delight to come back to them after some time away from SP. It'd make us happy if this animatic made you smile!

haha thank you!!! luckily there are two of us so we were able to split the work, but it was still very hard to finish on time. definitely really made us appreciate the efforts of the actual board artists on the show!

Oh my god this is so good! I love all the little details like Kenny not being able to climb over the railing easily or how butters is not taking him seriously at all at first.
I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and then as soon as it started it ended. Tis a beautiful creation. I also like how the roles are reversed in the animatic: usually the "other side" is the side of evil, but in this one Misterion is a superhero. It's a side of the song I haven't seen at all until I saw this animatic. +1 like from me
aww thank you so much! that was definitely the biggest reason we chose to do it this way- and some of the lyrics were really too good to pass up (about the cage etc). not to mention that it’s really fun to explore how adept and confident butters can be when he’s playing his professor chaos character!

@@KlNGOFTHEWORLD their friendship is kinda complicated, and they both do not know what they are. kyle referring to cartman as a “sort of friend” and cartman referring to kyle as a “friend” means that they have no idea what their friendship is, but for some reason they still care for each other than for other people. they keep fighting, but you can tell that it’s just how they are towards each other. nothing too personal. their fighting goes a little too far sometimes, but they still agree on something at the end of the day. It’s so obvious they aren’t enemies, because enemies despise each other. If they truly had hatred for one another, they would not have been interacting so much. when someone hates somebody, they try to avoid that person at at all times, and they don’t give a single shit about what happens to that person. but they do care about what happens to one another, their friend ship is still abusive, but it isn’t as bad as in the earlier seasons. cartman never actually hated kyle for being a jew. he never even actively hated jewish people. It was just a two-time thing he always did. he has never ever shown any type of hatred towards anybody in the show for a specific reason; it’s mostly teasing and ripping off or making fun of people that don’t share the same traits or interests that he does.
