Congratulations! My husband and I are future loopers and we love following current loopers! This is the first time I’ve seen the lines cut as you disembark… what is the significance, if you don’t mind me asking? Thank you for any response! Wishing you fair winds and calm seas!
The cutting of one's lines before leaving the dock and therefore leaving your land life behind is said to be a daunting and complex endeavour, and you cannot simply untie as you normally might when releasing a dock line from a dock cleat. Therefore, you must cut your shore lines to be free to leave shore life behind and boldly go cruising full time. Best of luck with your own loop and the cutting of YOUR lines! We have put several videos up about ours, and will continue to do so as time permits! Enjoy!
Yay! The show is finally on the waterways! It's beautiful up in Canada when you cruise on a boat. I always enjoy watching boaters cruising Canada! 😋
Us too! It's our home waters and we spend summers cruising the area annually.
