My perfect boat to spend the rest of my life exploring east coast and Florida coves and rivers....dry shower, complete access to bilge, wood work, everything about this boat is perfect for an east and south coast trawler fan. My favorite boat of all you have shown....thank you...new owners will enjoy... Would start with the keys cruising and living...
What a great little boat. As you said, everything you need and nothing you don't. Take this to the Bahamas and live life large on a small boat. In fair weather, this would be a dream. I'll bet this sold in just a few minutes. Thanks for posting and making my day.
What a fantastically thought-out boat - and she was offered at such a reasonable price too, no wonder she's now sold. I'd have snapped this beauty up in a moment.
Jordan, the first thing you should have said about this boat is that it was designed by Dave Gerr! Did you notice that the fineness ration is 12:1? Performance oriented catamarans have fineness ratios like that. At low speed this boat should just sip fuel, perhaps a gallon or maybe two per hour. Any time I see a boat like this it always make me thing of dutch barges and the possibility to run one as a straight electric boat. The max speed on the canals in Europe is about 3.5 knots and there are some being built now - your range is somewhat limited, but you can plug in at marinas. Also, if you're out in the middle of nowhere, you can pull over and drive stakes into the side of the canal. Then you just tie up for a couple of days to recharge the battery array. Anyway, nice tour!
Very interesting boat, with some equally interesting design choices. The woodwork is so beautiful, and then you get to the floor choice and it instantly looks like the boat is 60 years old. The 12' beam is almost as strange...the interior looks a lot like that of a British narrowboat as a result
Good job pointing out the top notch features of this boat. I agree, it's a worthy vessel. Determining what this boat is asked to do is a bigger issue. Can't call it a Looper, navigating many of the northern reaches would prove a difficult assignment for a basically flat bottom.bost. This is a coastal and flats cruiser, crab and oyster type of fishing. Perfect vessel for the Chesapeake. I wouldn't want to ride out more than three foot rollers. Very nice boat, just not an All -Seas rating.
If you had asked me to estimate its age, I would have said about 50 years old. The style, design, woodwork, flooring, windows etc a; look old. Having said that there is a boat for every person and a preferred style for every person too. I know this style is very durable and loved by many. Still, hard to believe it is only 20+ years old.
At the 9:00 mark you didn't notice that that table can be lowered and made into another berth. At least it looks like that. And, what do you know, . . . this power boat has a small mast and SAIL! 8 - D
I would remove the upper bridge to install solar panels, remove on of the motors and make the the boat electric drive and turn the other diesel into a back up generator.

Fico pensando nesses canais europeus. Se nem banho eles tomam diariamente o que fazem com os dejetos de banheiro? Vejo esses canais e penso em esgoto a céu aberto. Alguém conhece? Poderia me dizer de forma clara como é a higiene naquilo?
Your channel has changed a lot from doing repairs and sailing now your wife has disappeared I'm assuming taking care of the children and you have yet to show a boat that I can remember now in the last year or so that any average working guy could afford do you actually think we can afford quarter of a million up to the last one I saw was 1.4 million really😮
Amateur presentation. Shortly after the cork cooment: "looks pretty good, for what it is" - what the hell does that mean? Why do so many comments/sentences end with "so..."? The commentary is hopeless. I hope he finds a job he can do.
Awesome trawler style boat! And I didn't know you were from Nova Scotia! My time spent in Halifax was great and memorable. Loved the tour! Don't be a stranger!
One of the worst boats i have seen. No salon/ lounge, a ironing board "table" for the galley. ZERO outside lounge space, a stupid wethead taking up needed space, almost no storage, no range, particle board floors. I can go on, calling this thing a scow would be an insult to scows.
It actually was NOT a wet head. Two dry heads forward to port and aft on the starboard side. The simple, full sized shower was across the companionway from the forward head. A unique design, especially with regards to the forward v-berth door used as a cover of sorts when opened. Likely a shower curtain is tucked away inside the shower.

Then buy it Johnny

Great boat and good people. I had my Valiant hauled out next to this boat a couple of years ago. What a great Bahamas boat.

I love this boat hence saved the video in my "boats to buy when I actually have money" playlist

Great tour!
This is one of the best boats you have shown , and I bet would be perfect for the Philippines
This is a 60's designed boat built in the 2000's! Very minimalist, but still a nice boat.
I will have to read up on stability sails. I would expect a sail to reduce stability on such a shallow draft vessel. Great video. Thanks.

I can see why this sold so quickly. Nice price for a ready to provision and go yacht.
Really like the Shoal Trowler alot n you both make great videos n details Godbless
Nice boat and great woodwork. But the 'pulman' birth in the master is a deal breaker ! Twins or Island only in the master !!
Hi,Jordan,Randy I really like your videos n how in full details u go over engine,Helm, gages,n over all ships ty
Ty great videos Godbless your both Great
The 'storage' in the aft part of the boat is called the 'lazaret'.
Not having another entry point to the rear of the cabin would keep me away from a boat of this design, but yes, very nice woodwork!
Same here plus somewhat steep access to the flying bridge.
Coming up or down in rough water might be a issue.
Your awesome dude be safe out there
Good channel, as all ways keep it going
Showing boats in the future ,always mention engine, make model, horsepower etc.
Beautiful! God layout. Wood looks well kept.
Beautiful!
Very nice boat
Lovely boat.... Great style and low c of g with all the heavy stuff lower down .... for a narrow hull .
Plus it can add stabilisers like a Dashew .

The sail keeps the boat from roling
@@bigart1961With a shallow draft it needs it.
Very cool.
Wouldn't such a shallow draft destabilize the vessel and make it easier to capsize in high swells?
Weather permitting
I assume it will roll like crazy in rough weather .
Wish these videos would say the prices
Stabilization sail used for stability at sea at 3:20. Can someone explain to a landlubber?
Very intresting the boat.. How
Uch orice of the boat..
I can't read most of the information at the end of the video. White on white is not a good idea.
I like it
Looks like a roller at sea
You can buff that red back.
Jordan, I notice you've been spending a lot of time down in Florida lately. How are things up in Canada?
Aft cabin needs a back door 🤙
My thoughts exactly.
This boat was designed on the back of a napkin.
@@cuervoprovlol and don't be drinking while climbing the flying bridge 😆
Figures! A Canadian
The paint looks like it could be restored.
Looks like an old Navy YP.
As I get older, I also am thinking about getting a nice stabilizer with a boom so I can get some help to hoist my dingy…
What is a stabilization sail
What's not to like?
Why the emphasis on "...in fair weather..."?
Certainly an ICW capable snow bird cruiser.
What was the hull made from?
What part of Nova Scotia are you in?
Price?
Want one for my acre pond
wish the beam was at least 14feet...
meh, just a standard old boat that received a touchup and isn't in a weathered down state
Show us yours, db
👍❤️

There’s no television!

Alguém teria coragem de consumir a água desses canais?
Was this a fish boat originally
Hoist your own dingy lol
Needs a hull paint job. It looks pretty ratty from the outside.
You cannot use the word minimalist when there's so much excess.

do you know what shoal draft means?@@sharonbraselton4302

Why are you calling that a Pullman birth?
Why is it not a Pullman style berth?
isn't it?
@@chrisgeorge2717 I don't know that's why I asked
@MONSTERHOG 1 ahh... it is a berth that off to one side of the cabin. You may gain a little floor space by setting it off to the side.
Because it’s not a Pullman berth.a Pullman berth either pulls down from the wall or ceiling.hate boat tours by people that don’t truly know boats.

A bit scruffy.
Poorly planned cracker box. Not interested.
Seems way overpriced
Does the sail indicate this trawler has stability issues because of it's shallow draft ? Hmm... 🤔

i owned a similar size troller, F/V Cheryl M. A very sea worthy vessel, though her A/B ratio was far better.
Cracking lookjng, well maintained boat.

The berths that can be made by the fridge is great for the ones sleeping there. That don't have to get out of bed for a late night snack 😂😋
