Driving along Somerville road
Met an amazing event.
It is very normal to share a lane if one lane is occupied.
This car SNA3181U came out of the condo and insisted right of way.
Come to my car and tell me to reverse for him or he shall not move because he was stuck in the condo for 30 min.
That doesn't concern me at all.
And keep ranting I am a lousy driver......
Then he came up with a brilliant idea.
He will move towards my right and i will squeeze thru. It is very narrow to pass thru.
Not much option I just followed what he suggested. Then he claimed that I was trying to knock into him.
After that another dark color shirt man tried to intimidate me as if he wanted to punch me.
The driver stopped him.
Slowly I squeeze thru.
I just want to ask him why it is so difficult for him to reverse.

Unreasonable BMW driver...one side of the road was occupied by the cars that were parked along the lane..... he purposely came out from the condo and claimed albeit camcar was driving on the wrong lane.... but camcar had the right of way..... BMW uncle.... either u retake your BTT and FTT or give up your driving license totally... instead of wasting 5 secs if he had given way.... he eventually wasted few minutes because of his selfishness......
I suppose it is about the main road vs. side road. The vehicle from the side road has to stop at junction and wait until the main road traffic is cleared before they can proceed onto the main road.
sometimes i wonder why no sound recorded tho? i really wonder? :)
He only subscribed to the Basic plan for his BMW, 5 free reverse and 5 free signal per day. Additional reverse/signal need to pay extra.
actually cam car was taking other road user lane. at least, show a bit of gratitude by shifting your car slightly to the left and trying to squeeze through the gap. if really cannot, i think the BM will shift further to let you through. i bet cam car stayed in landed property. this is basic courtesy and it is so common in landed estate.
If it's a blinking police car or ambulance with siren, the uncle would act differently. Confirm plus chop😂😂😂😂

To be Frank, In Landed Property, If I Were to Drive Against Traffic Due to Alternate Lane Parking Vehicles, and When I Can See an Approaching Vehicle, I Will Find a Side Slot to Stop There, Until the Vehicle Clear the Way Before I Continue to Drive Forward.
I Feel That This is the Basic Rule We Must Follow to Avoid Escalating Conflicts.
As Nowadays, Drivers Who Bring EGO Out For Ride is Quite Common.
For This Case, CamCar Driver Can Actually Spot the Turning Out Car From Far, But CamCar is at the Blindspot of Turning Out Vehicle, There's a Right Slot for CamCar to Move Aside, Instead of Moving Forward and Head On.
Respect Starts With me, Courtesy Starts With me.
Instead of Asking Respect and Courtesy From Others First!
BMW car doesn't have reversing function. It can only move forward and expects other drivers to give way!

btw in MY roadside parking is common, drivers gives and takes.. Its only in SG many drivers behaves arrogance and entitled... I ME MY RIGHT OF WAY. regarding glass braking - usually the "social systems" take care of such arrogance drivers. Also not surprising seeing many SG car kenna vandalized oversea, some carried their yaya papaya arrogance entitled attitudes and hence kenna there, then cry wolf, wonder why kenna targetted.

Its the authority not working, when the road is a single white line separator. Vehicle can park from 7pm to 7am. Just hope some will oso park on both side and block the lane. Then c authority will act or not.

camcar driver is on wrong side of road (not his fault of course), but this meant he did not have right of way. So he should had been more alert and be prepared to slow down to leave opportunity for cars on the opposing direction to pass. If he had stopped just before some of the driveways on his right side and move as much as possible to his left, that would give the BMW a chance to pass. This is a case of one big ego meeting another big ego, but could had been totally avoided in first place.

@@SHChua-bs4nt No, he could stop near the houses and give way when he saw the opposing car which had the right of way approaching but he chose to barge his way through on the wrong side of the road and expecting others to stop and give way to him instead of the other way round. This is poor road mannerism

Cam car should accord others their rights of way as you are encroaching. This is the respectable and refined way of driving which ppl choose to ignore and pretend to be ignorant

No one is wrong in this clip. Camcar cut way because there were cars park at side, whereas bmw saw camcar coming and stopping at that point as he has reckoned by experience cam car should have no problem to exit. Perhaps i think camcar thought bmw ought to give the whole lane or most probably camcar's driving skill is too lousy as i think. You know, from the video i myself have estimated many cars can easily pass through so it really puzzles me how bad a driver's driving skill is if the driver can't judge at the live scene.
Bmw should give way to cam car, if you cannot judge who is wrong , better dont drive
