She hasn't been thriving in her tank enclosure, and I have changed everything from the size, to it being bioactive, and adding a cage top. It's also been impossible to keep her humidity and temps correct. I think she needs this grow tent bad.

Do you have a link to the tent and the lights by chance? I am trying to adopt a special needs Tegu and need to show proper setups. They said a tent setup is fine, and basically you have totally sold me on Tents.
I was thinking about getting a tent similar to this, but I am worried about the temperature getting to hot because of the reflective material. Have you had any problems with that or any tips if so?
Yes most are. My 3 foot Savannah monitor can’t get out and he has a foot and a half of substrate as well. When I moved him in he tried for days to claw out but it’s impossible.
I dont have any links unfortunately. The t5 set up I got at my local grow shop. Uvb is an acradia 12% uvb bulb. Then the other 2 basking lights are just par 38 flood lights
Its dependent on the species really. I havent seen any pictures of tegus breaking out of them, but I wouldnt put like am argus monitor or iguana in one personally although reinforcing the walls.

I have not had any issues with heat. There are some metal screen vents on top of the set up that i can open to vent out some heat if need be.
Did you incorporate a drainage layer?
