In this video, I show y'all what WE use as our GO-TO covers when we're running nekked. Some folks are good with sun and rain all over the interior of their Jeep, but that's not us. I wanted some protection from the UV rays as well as rain, and that actually looks good when I have my top off. Rain Gear Covers is the answer. Link Below

That is a really nice rain cover, I agree, looks way better
Yeah, we've had off and on rain last day and a half from the tropical storm that hit FLA. Checked this morning, and everything is still dry!😁👍🏻
As always, appreciate y'alls support!🤘🏻
Laughed when you just threw it on. This does look so much better than the Amazon one. This may very well be the next purchase I make for mine. After getting fixes done that is.
Glad you got a kick out of it!🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yeah, I had been eyeballing this one for quite some time, but just couldn't pull the trigger. Had it since around April and wanted to give it some use before I did a video. Top been off my Jeep since middle of July and this cover has performed exceptionally. You won't be disappointed. As always, thanks for watching and the comment. We appreciate you, buddy!👊🏻🤘🏻
Great video Clint. I leave my hardtop on with the freedom panels removed. I have the Bestop Sunrider and it's 5 seconds to open up. I used to have a soft top but got tired of having to yell at my wife sitting right next to me with the wind noise on the freeway.
My first 3 Jeeps were all soft tops. Last 2 have been hard tops. More security, quieter and better protection from the elements, IMHO. The ability to remove the freedom panels is nice, but to me, there's just something about having the whole top off. 😁 Thanks, Bob. We appreciate the continued support!!🤘🏻
Those are some very nice covers. I have had my eye on them for a while. It’s good to see it is easy setup and tear down. Very good and informative video! Can’t wait to see what’s next.
Thanks, buddy! Been a while since we heard from you. I looked at them for a while too. Wish I'd have pulled the trigger earlier! Thanks for watching and the comment! 🤘🏻
Nice! Our current one doesn’t cover the full door area. Now that we have the tube doors I need to get one of these.
Yes y'all do! Miss y'all!! We gonna get together soon as this oppressive friggin heat breaks. Tents, fires, and cold beers!👊🏻
.......and sasquatches
Too damn hot right now to run with no top. I will reconsider come mid September when I am out at the Outer Banks.
True that! But, if you get up early and ride before noon, it's actually quite pleasant.😁 OBX in September, huh? One of these days, Imma make it out there. Thanks for watching, Dennis!🤘🏻
Good video. You have wicked jeep too!
Appreciate it!! Glad you liked the vid. Thanks for watching and the comment! 🤘🏻
Pretty much sold me on one. Think I'll try the half cover for even when my ht is on. Figure I can deal with extra fabric somehow. Thanks and great video.
Just so you know, I get NO compensation for my opinion. I honestly LOVE this cover, and I'm certain you will, too! Glad you liked the vid. Thanks for watching and the comment! 🤘🏻
How does it do with hard top on? I went with the full cover and just ordered it. But I plan to use mine when hard top is off mostly
I am also looking at one of these to use at night since I don’t have a garage and don’t want to leave Jeep wide open in my neighborhood. I know it’s not gonna stop the hardcore thief, but do you think this is secure enough to keep folks away looking for a snatch and grab thing, out of the Jeep?
Well, you nailed it. If a thief wants it BAD enough.... they're GONNA get it. That said, if you wanna be naked, this cover is the absolute BEST for protecting the interior of your Jeep from the elements. Best thing to do is to not leave anything of value inside your Jeep. There's also the Slipstream from Diabolical Inc. It's not a cover, but closes up the back of your Jeep to make it harder for theives to get to items like a sub or tools or whatever. I have one and highly recommend it. They make them for 2 doors AND 4 doors. Sorry, I couldn't tell you what you wanted to hear, but I think you already know the answer to your question. That said...SO far, I've not had an issue. Thanks for watching and the question! 🤘🏻
Do you still recommend this cover? Want to keep the hard top off my YJ but it lives outside. Want something durable that’ll stand up to rain.
@@andytrim850 Absolutely! Best cover on the market, IMHO.
Oh you had me with that click bait title 🤣 I think that means something different out west.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Great man! How’s it holding up? I just bought one for my Jeep where I’m here in Fl. Hoping it’s a great purchase. Sounds it!!
Yeah, so....being in FLA and it raining EVERY damn day at 4 pm, this will be a necessity! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Seriously though, we have them for Napalm and my wife's TJ, Grunt. They're the BEST covers I've ever used. They work with my tube doors too. Around May, my hardtop comes off and the rain gear cover goes on till around Sept-Oct. One thing, water will collect. So if it's raining significantly, you MIGHT need to push up on the back to get that standing water off. But, my Jeep has stayed dry inside! Thanks for watching and the comment! 🤘🏻
@@ShockWaveOffroad 😊😂😂ya everyday we get rain I figure here in Palmetto. I’ll keep that in mind when it starts to build up a little. Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully this winter stays decently dry so I can keep my top off and just put this on for nights or emergencies!
@@ShockWaveOffroad Rain Gear included a really nice hat that sponsors them. Gonna be my new Jeep riding hat 😂😂
@@schmidtlifeproductions603 Yeah, I think they send hats out with all their orders. I got one, too. It's piled up in the closet with 3000 other hats!😂😂😂😂👍🏻👊🏻
What spare tire holder is that?
It's the DV8. I would NOT recommend it. If you like this style of spare tire carrier, I recommend the one by GenRight.
Does the water pool on the top between the roll bar if a heavy rain comes?
Yes, it does. However, any top like this is going to pool water.....UNLESS it leaks. Which, this does NOT. Mine has had enough water in it to sag a good 6-10 inches, and the inside has remained dry and that's the whole point. That said, I'm not saying this because Rain Gear gave us these covers. We paid FULL price for them. They didn't sponsor this, or any other video. This is by far the BEST cover for your Jeep, based on MY experience. I get NOTHING if you order one. My channel isn't even monetized. What you see on MY channel is MY unbiased opinion. Order the Rain Gear cover. It's a bit pricey, but you'll not be disappointed. Thanks for watching and the question!!🤘🏻
@shockwave.... I ordered one and it is on its way now! Thank you for the honest review
@@mtblantonjr You're welcome! That's why I started this channel.👍🏻
What sunshade do you have?
Alien Sunshade
@@ShockWaveOffroad I got a alien sunshade too. They are they best! Jeep on brother!
Not 100% waterproof? Smh whats the point of having a cover then
There's this....as I said in the vid, (they) said it's not 100% waterproof. It's a liability thing. I've used this cover for 2 yrs and have not had a leak. That said, you do YOU. I will not promote I product on my channel that I don't believe in. So...
