I was waiting all day for this video for real. Almost done my 15 hour shift, so some good old Rome Total War chaos is well deserved in my break! Cheers 🎉 Also, I recently played a campain with the Celts, and despite the fairly small unit roster, their noblemen clan cav is brutal! They melt most heavy infantry, especially together with the chariots moral debuff.
What's with the cavalry's shields from 16:07? They've got like a black square around them, I've seen that on Infantry occasionally on my own game and not figured it out... 43:47 - 44:23 =😄😆😂🤣🤣🤣
Do the Western Empire Rebels revolt back to WE, I thought they revolted to ordinary rebels? Rather than chasing that General all the way, you should've charged those cav while their backs were to you, could've destroyed them...
Western empire rebels should revolt back to me! And yes, some inefficiencies are occurring just wait until the chariot ballista arrive - the queens of inefficiency
@@ToNerdistoHumanTNH well, that Macro guy and his army didn't get the memo, lol, they went pure rebel - was that only because you took their last settlement then?
Do the morale effects of a general persist after he flees or leaves the field? If my general has -4 morale, and he dies, does that improve the morale of my troops? Answers on a postcard!
I never realized the buildings in settlements had the windows lit when attacked at night. It looks so nice
The night aesthetics are lovely... if a tad impractical (as I guess night battle should be)

Lets goooo
A good thing we dealt with the Celts quickly then! :D It's been a long time since I played with them.
ps. Glad to bring TW chaos to your break!
Hey, what’s your job
Your commentary is sublime
Cheers :D
This is going surprisingly well!
I know right! Fear not. It'll surely go tits up soon!

Strange bug! And yes, many needless deaths once again.
Great work!
Thank you! Cheers!
28:22 I love that oversight, it happens when the faction leader is not the general
Yes I thought the faction leader defaulted to general but perhaps that is either my imagination or a change in Med II

Yay! Love this x
Cheers!!
Not following orders? It's Rome Total War: Medieval II Total War Invasion.
Story checks!
Yup. The most chaotic version of classic TW.
38:33 those guys, Romanly

Cheering the end of the rebels feels wrong.
You should be a football commentator
Cheers! I'd probably go a bit Alan Partridge though if I was. :P
31:06 you cast the first "frank"
21:05 quite Romanly
that battle at the end was great to watch
It was a good solid battle! Rare to engage like that.
You need to destroy the temple in Salamantica and replace it with a Christian shrine
I think I get to it eventually! Luckily Salamantica is more relaxed than most of Iberia. :D
@@ToNerdistoHumanTNH i generally find out the most populus religion in the settlement and convert it to that
20:25 nothing quite like extermination to calm people down
The oldies are the best!
22:22 proper lads on a big pile of "lad"ders, you say?
An inspired pun and completely intentional of course!
25:35 a fat lot of good that did. "gate keepers", yeah right. it's open, as clear as day lol
smashy smashy
22:58 Romanly
This could be going a lot worse!
31:27 virgin pagan vs. chad Christian
lol, at the start of the battle. Eugenius isn't just untouched by fear, he's completely bonkers
rest in peace, Herius, you fat lazy bastard. may the gods welcome you home
It was a noble attempt....
50:01 Romanly
Frankly
58:25 those filthy franks, them and their terminology, that e-quite Romanly aren't fit for Roman tongues
21:49 e-quite Romanly, it's because you committed the heinous act of improper terms, like "frank and frankly". And so, you must be punished.
I will be facing a lot of punishment it seems!
12:27 you mean to be roman? 😛
To be Thomas
