I dont know the name of them because I bought them from ace hardware. But they need to be pretty thicc and you shouldn't be able to compress them by hand. Id just buy a couple and run some tests till you find what works best. Thats what im doing because these current springs are still a little too weak for my liking
They're pretty thick. I dont know what size they are though. I just bought a couple springs from ace hardware and then trimmed them down to the size i needed. They are a little thinner than MBS springs.
@@MARYOLIONHEART I did make a modification in another video that gives it brakes discs, if you look on my channel it’s called how to make a motorized mountain board or something like that
@@FlamingRayz I saw that video, looks great, but sadly i live in a former comunist country and town, and i dont have the necesary tools and things to do this, but thank you very much :) .
@@MARYOLIONHEART yeah it can be hard to start out making things. There’s probably a way to make brakes for it without using all the tools that I did, but you just have to figure it out
I mean you could try but it would be very hard to stand on and hard to turn. I made this deck myself and its about as big as a snowboard so I would try to get something a little bigger than a skateboard
Great job bro.... I am trying to make a same and learned so much from your video.... Can you tell me how strong is your spring used in turning mechanism?
I dont know the exact type but its pretty thick. Like I can't compress it with just my hands. I didnt know which one to use either so I just went to my local hardware store and bought a bunch and tested them till i found one that worked the best
Well... Kinda. Since these are so big it isnt very conventional for just rolling through town because its just way too exhausting. These are mostly used offroad and down hills because these are designed to act like a snowboard that doesn't need snow. I don't know if you saw my other video on this but im putting a small engine on it so it can cruise without killing your legs. If you want to see some good traditional mountain boarding though search "MOUNTAINBOARDING in 4K" on youtube
bueno, lo he tenido durante meses y todavía funciona. Las ruedas que estoy usando tienen rodamientos de bolas, por lo que realmente no necesito ningún buje adicional.
No. They are more practical this way. And when ever i cut them, I end up getting cut by peices of metal when i work. They may not look nice but its a lot better than being cut up
How did these hold up overtime with use?
How much truck pipe size inside or outside
What springs did u use

@@FlamingRayz i made something simillar and i use valve springs from engine (can easly get used for free or buy for cheap)
@Sebastian Nurkowski good to know cause I need some that are a little btt stiffer than the ones I currently got on
How powerful springs have you used ?

How do you stop this from speed?

So I can use a normal board form a normal skateboard to build that?

good job! how long are the trucks!? wheel to whell
They are about 13 inches but the tires I used have a little tube that sticks out a couple inches so its probably about 15 inches from rubber to rubber

Imposible que pueda usarse sin bujes de goma. Quedan las ruedas demasiado libres !!

You should change ur titles to "how to". Notice that the video with that title got 1300 views. People are intrigued on how to dobit themselves.
