Sammy came out, jovially asked how our food was and we said it was good. He then tried to push us into ordering an entree, which we declined. That's when he started getting belligerent, saying we couldn't just sit and take up space in his rush hour. (it was four in the afternoon and the place was nearly empty). My dad said we were paying customers in case he hadn't noticed the plates. He called my dad a 'loser deadbeat' and that he wasn't speaking to him, he was speaking to the rest of us. My friend pulled her phone out just to answer a text that came in and I guess he thought she was going to film him or something because he suddenly dove across the table and snatched at her phone, missing, thankfully. We all jumped up and ran out the door and my dad dropped a ten on the floor as we did, probably not enough for the cakes, but we were just afraid of what else that maniac would do. We took off up the street as Sammy screamed at us that he was going to have us arrested and how we'd spend our whole lives in jail and what not. Seriously, the guy was a ticking time bomb

I WAS KICKED OUT OF AMY'S BAKING COMPANY. In 2011, my girlfriend and I went to Amy's for dinner. I ordered a Salmon steak cooked to medium well, she ordered a pasta entre. So, 38 minutes later, the server brings us our orders. We both noticed the food was not very warm, I also saw my steak was not cooked right. It was more medium rare. So, I asked the server if the steak could be cooked to Medium Well. A few minutes later, that Sammy guy comes back with it, tells me "Amy said my salmon steak is fine just fine". I said "Well, actually, I prefer it-" With that, Sammy inturupted me, and said, "You're not fu---ng eating it right! GET OUT! You both go now, get the FU-- OUT OF here!" The restaurant was silent. All the other customers were watching in shock at Sammy blowing his stack. So, with that, we both got up and left. Sammy kicked over a chair, and as we went out the door, he threw a salt shaker at us!
Her husband actually went after someone with a knife. So that should tell you the amount of crazy your dealing with. They've been closed for years now but they truly were nuts. It definitely wasn't scripted there.
