Like the camera, but out of my price range and physical size. It's a real "pro" camera requiring pro lenses and a pro behind the camera! Thanks for the great review.
I noticed that as well, but sadly only after the fact. The level was set to -12, but I think it may have been placed too close to my voice. Frustratingly, the operator said that it sounded fine in monitoring. Definitely something to triple check for the next one. Thanks for watching and sharing some feedback.
The only reason it's "awful" is because it does not have lens data on non Sigma (Canon ) lenses. I have the adapter. Unless you need critical focusing speed, it's quite usable. Better than having to focus by hand.
@@DoubleGauss Sorry, but I have to say that I agree with t Lim about this. I did a similar test a few weeks back with more or less the same lenses you have. 85 1.2L on the adapter was painfully slow (Ok not the fastest lens you can have but to me, not going to work in real life), and the Sigma ART lenses worked (slightly) better but still, and confirmed in your video, a lot of focus hunt when standing perfectly still in a good lighting situation, 5 seconds to find focus on a wedding or similar would not work. Shame, really loved the S1R and wanted it to work good with the adapter..
@God Drink Visuals that was pretty funny. Just switched from Sony to Panasonic but the auto focus is definitely not quite as good as Sony but all of the other features make it worth it!

Hello I follow you from Iraq I love you a lot can advise me I have 800 dollars I need a camera to photograph possible reply It should be Canon Nikon because Sony and a number of companies do not exist in Iraq only Canon or Nikon ...
I got AFC to work with the canon 100mm macro...I updated the S1 to the latest firmware.

Thanks for the feedback and kind words!
Great shots!
What about the stabilisation? Are the canon lenses stabilised? I dont care about focus becouse im pulling it my self. 😅
Does focus peaking still work? And can you still use liner manual focus?
Yes and yes (not electronic)!
You cannot use linear electronic focus. Linear control is only available with Lumix S lenses. However most EF/DSLR lenses are mechanical anyway
Great review!
Whats up with thee audio it sounds blown out to me to much gain ?

Hello sir when i using mc21 with canon 24-70 mark 1 s1 indicate
apsc mode is there any solution for that change to full frame
thanks for help
Amazing.
The AF performance is truly awful with the adaptor! I seriously doubt if anyone will consider using that.

@@DoubleGauss Better stick with my D750

I believe Fujifilm have a presence in Iraq. The X-T20 or X-E3 packaged with the XF18-55 may be around $800 with rebates or sales.
Damn, These S1 series cameras have horrible AF.
