Hello Bill! May I suggest some HIIT? Studies
have found just 9 MINUTES of “loosing our breath “ (breathing hard) helps with autophagy and overall homeostasis. Break it down to reaching breathlessness for 30 to 45 seconds (can’t hold a conversation) and slow it down (not Stop) for another 15-20 seconds before starting next cycle. It really doesn’t seem to help weight loss 😓, but it keeps our bodies functional at our age😉

Jami, I believe in HIIT, however at age 72, and with beyond terrible knees, I have not found a suitable HIIT exercise fir me…. I walk a lot, but that is doing my knees in, so, sadly, I must reduce my walking. Could you suggest some specific types of HIIT for someone like me? There is something about HIIT that confuses me! -I also really need to begin some type of weight training, as I have lost a lot of actual muscle. Thanks for your help!

I’m completing my certification in Functional nutrition in the meantime practicing on a few friends by gathering their health history that includes antecedents, environment- exposure to mold- heavy metals etc etc it boils down to bio individuality because no two people can follow the same “self care” plan - this is why so many people fall between the cracks of this sick care system. I recommend first cleaning up the diet and environment (stress reduction / sleep, elimination- exercise- spiritual and track to see if things heal if not get labs done - then work on deficiency to sufficiency - the body was designed to heal!
And it can if we learn how to care for ourselves 🙌🏼

You cannot wholly reverse aging-it's a normal part of life. However, you may be able to slow it down and help prevent age-related diseases by adopting a healthy lifestyle. That includes habits like eating a healthy diet, wearing sunscreen every day, and exercising. Especially for us women, we tend to look more stressed and weaker as we age. Everything appears to speed up in our perceptions as we get older. Your body needs all the help it can get. So, for me, I take Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (Vitruvin Nutrition 500mg) every morning with a protein drink and some Greek yogurt. It has radically changed everything. All sorts of problems have mostly disappeared. I have lots of energy. My vision is better, aches and pain are almost gone, and my mental clarity is pretty well. At 75, that’s not shabby.

This was not a problem years ago, so it's just a money making scam. It's amazing that Dr's were not taught any thing about nutrition, but all of a sudden there are experts.

I've just found out through ultrasound that I've got renal cysts and I'm having so much trouble getting a low oxalate, low phosphorus, low sodium diet that is also low carb, low fat. I tried doing Keto for a short while, loading up the fridge with cheeses, bacon, Chia seeds, beets, kale, green leaf and red leaf lettuce, chicken with skin, lots of broccoli. This was before I knew about my Kidney cysts. I spent a lot of money and now I'm going to try to return some of these items to the store. I gained 12 pounds on the Keto diet. The only way I can lose weight is doing a low carb, low fat diet. It's worked for me in the past and it worked until I tried Keto. My new motto is, if what you were doing worked, then keep doing it and don't listen to so called experts telling you that you should switch to 75 percent fats, ,20 percent protein and 5 percent Carbs. This diet is ridiculous. I'm Seventy years old today, and I'm listening to myself and the good doctors like Dr. Suneel Dahnd, John Campbell, Dr. Mobeen Syed and Dr. ME. They agree that people who are considered Senior, need more protein in their daily diet because after a certain age they lose muscle mass. Protein is as essential for life as are water and air.

Greens powder concentrate and a probiotic ( lactobiotic ? ? ) exercise and a diet that supports folate production, - gentle time restriction - 12 hours without food ....and a diet a little bit keto leaning ( I wonder what that means in practice if you are whole food plant based ? ) meditation alone, yoga and the like can have a favorable influence on biological aging....

I grew my own food in volcanic rock dust (has 84 minerals and monatomic elements) and compost. Ate raw for 3 months and my hair started falling out, my 2 big toe nails fell off. My body started healing from the outside inwards ie head and feet. I used liquid iodine on my skin and took Hubners Silica gel to heal my gut. I glowed with health and looked 10 years younger on raw food. All the inflammation in my body vanished. I never ingested any vitamins just real food that my body recognised.

Sorry to say that even with the very best of dietary and exercise regimes, one cannot reverse ageing. The best that can be achieved is slowing down the ageing process… if we’re lucky enough we live long enough to grow old before we die. To assert that people can, in effect, “become younger” (the sub-text beneath the phrase “reversing ageing”) is misleading at best and making money off people’s vulnerability at worst. As a doctor of medicine, one would expect that all due care and diligence be taken rather than jumping on the bandwagon of potential notoriety and increased income.

It is sad how she arrived at the right conclusion to be carful of unintended consequences of Folic and supplement and she went with diet, yet she said we prescribed lots of vitamin all the time.Yes Folic acid in large dose supplements can increase the risk of cancer.
Dr KF,you are on the right track, you are progressing amongst your peers, and please apply your study protocol on your patient.
Hi dose Folic acid,B6and B12 ok when Homocysteine is high.It is not for everyone

Thank you for your work. I found the video interesting but I don't find the study very helpful. We already know a healthy diet, moderate exercise and adequate sleep are beneficial. Does this study really further our understanding or just obscure what the most beneficial interventions are ? People only have so much time and capacity for moderating their lifestyles. Saying just concentrate on every facet of your life doesn't seem that helpful.

Great info but having active MTHFR SNPs require very different treatment than what you’re describing. Methylfolate, folic acid, folinic acid are VERY DIFFERENT. This is great info but it’s lacking nuance.. 40-60% of people have MTHFR or other methylation SNPs & could hurt themselves greatly by taking these things BEFORE testing their genome & serum levels.. Folic acid = A hole, methylfolate= full blown mental health crisis. You can be too sick to take methyl groups until you figure it out so please don’t take these things without guidance of an MTHFR trained Dr. They’re hard to find btw so look hard! It’s soo important!

So I cut out all my junk food put back on the ice cream and cake. Quit eating processed junk stopped eating fast food and prepared everything at home so I was making medicine.
