Loved your reaction, handsome dudes. Read up on Tom Scholz, the lead guitar and founder of the band. He's an M.I.T educated electrical engineer. Built many of their guitar peddles, processing amps etc. Of course, the iconic Boston hit is the song More Than a Feeling. I also highly recommend Smokin' and Amanda (I love Amanda especially) if you want to check out more Boston.

I was there in ‘76 Springfield, Mass......... never forget that concert....
The group “The Outlaws “ open for Boston.........
While waiting to get in, standing outside the doors 🚪, it started to snow ❄️ flurries (real light) and no one thought anything about. We when in when they finally opened the doors.
We had a great time , air got filled with weed smoke 💨 and everyone was enjoying the fantastic music.
When the concert was over and we got everybody together to go home ( using one car ),
We were all shocked 😳........ there was about seven to nine inches of snow ⛄️ on the ground and a blizzard was at hand. We were lucky 🍀 that our car was loaded down with five or six people or we wouldn’t have had any traction on the road........... I was driving and I was slip and sliding all over the road........ made it to the house safely and in one piece.
    Thank God.
The next day... there was like three feet of snow where I lived, everything was closed down.
That was some concert...... I had a great 👍 time.
Yeah 😎......... this song brought back some great memories.
    Thank you for sharing.
    Peace.

Awesome guys!!!!, yes this is BOSTON!,
Groundbreaking, thats basically what the late 60's going into the 70's was, music created in a way never done before, sounding like nothing ever heard before, instruments specifically made to bend the boudaries of sound, the Moog synthesizer, talk box, groups like Yes, "Roundabout "(do check that out, will also take you to another place), ELP(Emerson Lake & Palmer),
Moody Blues, Johnny Winter, "Frankenstein "(he's a freakin mad scientist with the Moog, your ears won't believe it). Parliament Funkadelic,(simply mad), Deodato , Thelonious Monk (more jazz genre, but doesn't detract from mind blowing) , Peter Frampton, Ray Parker Jr., Joe Walsh(talk box kids,😊) Innovation and groundbreaking became an almost everday occurrence, some of us witnessed it in person, live, others on tv, thank God for tv!!!, welcome to the past, everything supposedly old is new again. Please keep going, enjoy as I know you will the journey. People might laugh at your reaction, but let me tell you we did the same when we first heard it, trust. We were stumped, stunned, bewildered, Godsmacked, and deer caught in the headlights!!!, like I said, had never been heard before, with maybe the exception of Chuck Berry, 😊, that right there should've been foretelling of things to come, keep going, I suggest the three decades of musical renaissance, 1960's, 1970's,
    1980's, Peace 👍

This took years to create! And our week is vary Creaaative. You guys must be Scottish, right? Welsh? No I can kind of hear some English in your accent, but not a lot. Let me know, I’m curious as hell! Then turn the album over and listen to Hitch a Ride! You’ve got to hear that. Tom Scholz takes his time recording and mixing his albums. When the first album was recorded, there wasn’t a band. They put the band together after they got the contract. But vocalist Brad Delp and guitarist Barry Barry Goudreau worked with Sholz on creating the album. Barry payed a mean guitar, had a really big impact on the guitars tone and when a vocalist was needed, Barry was friends with Brad. So he brought him to Meet Tom and Tom gave him something to sing and Brad Delp was basically a plug and play singer. His vocals are the best I’ve ever heard. He was a really cool guy, and on a later tour he worked with Kimberly Dam who was hav8 f trouble get into the rant Tom wanted. So Brad told her to sing like a guy trying to sound like a girl who’s trying to sing like a guy. Kimberley soon broke out on her own, a great singer in her own right. Then, a very sad th8ng happened. Brad Delp took his own life. He was torn between his loyalties to Tom and Barry plus a few other things he was facing that he couldn’t deal with. Brad, the world misses you greatly. The band was looking for a a replacement to carry on after Brad departed this life, and someone heard about this guy who worked at Home Depot. His name was Tommy Decalogue, and he could sing! Since then the Band has been on tour a few times, some new music has been released and we don’t know what the current status of the band is. You can find their web site under ThenBand Boston, it may have been updated since the last time I looked at it. As for the music, enjoy it Brothers! When you run out of Boston stuff to listen to, let me know, as I can help you find related albums and songs. Peace!

📌 The lead singer, Brad Delp, committed suicide in 2008. He was extremely depressed because two of his former band mates were suing one another. Brad refused to take sides. Anyway, after his death, the two band members’ lawsuits were upfront. The judge basically told them “Shame on you. Haven’t you caused enough damage?” He dismissed both law suits. Boston was my group. I have most of their vinyl albums. R.I.P., Brad Delp. 🎸 If you look closely, their spaceships are actually looking at a guitar from a different angle. 😝
