Neat! Would be cool to have the whole X-ray setup for it. And some lead to hide behind lol. The AC and DC voltage will always be in direct proportion to one another. Load on one or the other circuit will change them slightly, but the DC voltage cannot “climb” without the AC voltage doing the same. You could probably run something like a simple shaded pole fan motor by reducing the voltage to around half, ie 60 or so. And it would run at half speed. Would need to use a transformer rated for around twice the voltage, ie 240, due to the half frequency. It would be fun to play with!
Great video, Colin! That is a super neat little engine. I'm glad you finally got it going and running absolutely perfect. Also, that cart came out beautiful love the woodwork!
Thanks! Yeah I love it! It actually had some issues at the show last weekend so I gotta do some electical work and make a gasket but otherwise it's works pretty good! Yeah my dad is quite a good woodworker so he helped me out making the cart! Thanks for Watching!
Great job run great. Had several of these over the years before I did You Tube. Used to have an 850 watt 32 volt permanently mounted to charge my Edison battery bank for my off grid system. Great machines but very heavy that's why you don't see many at the shows. Even with wheels they are a hand full.
Thanks Kevin! Ohh wow that's super cool! Too bad you didn't keep it as part of the system because that would be super neat! I never even thought about it but I suppose if you had one of the 32VDC ones you could get an inverter to use 110VAC appliances with it! Yeah I suppose that is true.... sometimes I forget that I'm still young and new to this hobby LOL! Thanks for Watching!
Very neat! I saw one of these Delco plants in my small town historical museum when I was a kid and thought it was cool. Wasn't an X-ray version though! Sounds like yours would putt happily all day.
Thanks! Yeah the regular ones are pretty cool too! Especially when they have some original appliances to go with! Yeah it runs pretty darn well! Can't complain at all! Thanks for Watching!
Beautiful generator set. I can only imagine the lives saved by the medical x-ray images taken with this generator back in the day.
Thanks David! yeah, right!? Wild to think about! Thanks for Watching!

Haha! Imagine!? Ahh ok gotcha, good to know! Thanks for the info! Ohh interesting, I'll have to look into that! Thanks for Watching!
Very nice job on this one Colin! That is a rare one for sure! 👍
Thanks! Sure is! :)
Very cool piece will make a nice display , I think we know someone who would really like that as well, great vid , thx Colin
Thanks!! Yeah it is a neat piece! Excited to show it off this year and next year! Thanks for Watching!

You get hold of some really fascinating "toys" there. 😍
Haha yeah I seem to do pretty good given my location and budget LOL! Thanks for Watching!
Nice video! Cool little engine 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Bono!
Nice collin, that's a new one for me... great show piece.
It was a new one for me too LOL! Thanks for Watching!
