I am forever sad that I will never get a chance to see this band live. :( This is one of my favorite songs ever after discovering it in 2019. The whole album is fire.
This is next level. This album is going to be such an epic journey. Its like God Speed You! Black Emperor or 65daysofstatic level of gorgeous soundscapes but with absolutely ridiculous grooves and riffs thrown in. This album could become a post rock/math rock classic if every song is of the same caliber as Matter.

Reminiscent of Karnivool with that "sound that could go far." I'm a fan now so don't let us down. Keep up the amazing work. You have a unique sound all your own and I'm glad I came across this song.
Muse really were never this heavy. I'm a big fan of both old and new muse, every album has its own advantages and they have preserved their distinctive quality in their music even in their pop hits. But AR go for something much more energetic, despite having Muse as one of their possible influences.

Lot of comments people are comparing the sound of this to other bands, but no one mentions Deftones? I feel such a big Deftones vibe in this, from the riff and especially in the way its sung. (which is very much not a bad thing)
