Having a well defined cancellation policy for clients is an absolute must for a long term successful hairstylist business. There is nothing more frustrating than a client not showing up for their scheduled service.
Your time behind the chair is extremely valuable and clients should respect that. In order to earn that respect you must have a firm cancellation policy with the terms clearly outlined. I even go as far as having all my new clients sign this policy before booking any additional appointments.
