When this video ended, I was like "why Tennis Tv? I want to see more shots"😀❤
I miss this man so much. No one plays or played tennis like him.
I don't.
@@cobrakilla8 Hard to imagine being a tennis fan and not enjoying watching him play. Not everyone is a fan of this wonderful game, and that's ok.
Grigor is better
@@kevinstarski1598his is not ballet or figure scating, ofcorse one hand backend is more atracrive to watch but then is tsitsipas goat? Federer is 3 place and its true
True. Ik that there are ppl ranting on abt how he is third best, which i can't really deny, but his style of playing was the best, it may not always come on top, but it was the best to watch
An artist in an athletes body. Look at anyone that plays tennis today and no one comes close to replicating his style.
Very true. Medvedev is talented but don't enjoy watching him play.
@@marye813oh meddy is sooo ugly to watch... But he is good...
I mean there is dimitrov lmao
@@initialise21 lmao

Those flick of the wrist backhand passing shots are so satisfying to watch...only roger could pull those off
I've seen Karatsev make a bunch of those. Too bad he's in a slump now
Cheater Like basilashvili and paire
Truly missed, nothing but genius on the court and made everyone fall in love with sport! His career speaks for its self! Transcendental
The winner at 5:28 is just jaw-dropping.. the level of difficulty is insane and Roger just makes it look soooo effortlessly easy .
Damn, I miss this man !!
God this man was so exciting to watch. Incredible athleticism, movement, artistry and creativity.
If god played tennis, he would play like Roger.
Such a talent who played tennis in such an aggresive and creative way who has no equal.
We'll never see another Federer again but thank god we had him and all of these video memories to remember him with👍
Word !😎💪😎
He could play them all and also invent new ones. All his career highlights are a treasure for fans to watch. Love you Roger 🙏❤
I'm gonna cry. He is so missed. But I am so grateful to have seen him play
Federer is like Senna, they might not hold the records in terms of raw numbers like:GS, masters, wdcs and wins but they had the talent, skill and finesse their competitors only dreamed of
Well said! Senna was just built different as is Federer's tennis
Still only behind Djokovic and Nadal in big titles and Nadal has the privilege of 3 clay masters tournaments which Federer never had in grass. Federer still won 6 M 1000's ,RG and total 11 titles on clay. Only Djokovic has better diversified numbers than Federer.
I love seeing the different eras of great men's players. Hewitt, Henman, Blake, Agassi, etc. and then moving into the current day, and Federer is still doing his thing 🔥
The video also highlights his insane backhand defensive skills, the most underestimated aspect of his game. People often say some other one-handers can hit more powerful backhands, and therefore they're better. But nobody, not Wawrinka, Tstitsipas, Thiem, Shapovalov, Dimitrov or anyone else comes close to his unbelievable backhand skilfulness, precise passing shots, quick reactions, reflexes, angles, flicks, half-volleys from the baseline etc.
He lost his steps after that mono and of course age&injuries.
As we can see those flicks of the wrist all came from his early days, he might hit it once
or twice a year after that, but he can't do it on daily basis anymore.
2005~2007 is no doubt his physical prime, he was still great after recovering from that
mono, but never the same.
Thank you Tennis TV for this video.
The video quality changes are hilarious. Truly a man of multiple eras.
5:27 this one again wawrinka… simply wonderful
I was finally able to watch tennis again without thinking of Roger and here tennis tv goes making me depressed again.
Baseline counterpunching is the most effective method in modern tennis, but the all-court tennis like we saw from Federer, Sampras and the greats beforehand was such a spectacle. Not to say I haven't loved watching the Agassis and Djokovics do their thing, but Federer is the last of tennis's great artists - and more than that, he had more skill than all of them. Sadly, I don't expect to see anyone else during my lifetime winning slams whilst playing with as much flair and magic as Roger.
Miss you, Roger.
Federer❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
His skills/shots were just magical and unexpected. Didn’t see any of that nowadays. 😩
Tennis TV knows they can’t go wrong dropping a random Fed montage every now and then haha
Roger Beautiful, genius Tennis, will never ever come again
This level of shotmaking could easily be anyone's best career shots... But it's just fed at Indian Wells 😂❤
2017 Federer 🔥
How badly i miss this guy play 😞😞😞
Федерер довёл теннис до уровня искусства!
Fabulous. I love that killer forehand against Blake.
The REAL GOAT and GOD OF TENNIS... Once in a lifetime player
Sachin Tendulkar is the god of tennis.

Nole is True GOAT. FEDERER is just number 3 forever
2017 was the most magnificent season
I don't care how many grandslam tournaments other players won more. Federer made the most ingenious, and handled harder shots so easily. Also Federer's tennis IQ had to be over 180.
Keep crying. Djokovic is the goat
@Dragan Milosevic you are only cared for his gradslam tournament winning, but Federer has never behaved, such as the way Djokovic showed prior to Australian open in 2021 ( covid vaccine issue) also Federer is a true champion on an off the courts throughout his career.
@@initialise21 Interesting comment since you posted 7 hours ago that, “As a Serbian”, Federer is the GOAT.
You’re just a troll trying to stir up trouble.
@@vickiego1 that's the troll, look at our profile pictures they are different.
My king❤❤❤
Agradecido de la vida por darme la dicha de ver a Nico Massú y Roger Federer
The ultimate superstar
He was the most relaxed in his body- (poetry in motion).
He makes it look so easy. The only other set of highlights that can rival Federer's in terms of beauty is that of Gasquet's backhand.
The best!
The man, the myth, the legend.
I miss Roger
I miss you tenis king roger
Great video, but I'd prefer to watch more slice, touch and volley winners by Fed

THE goat at work ;-)
Federer MEDVEDEV SAFIN😮😮
Very few chosen ones have moved in such a gracious manner: Federer, Magic Johnson, Laudrup, Zidane, Ronaldinho....
the best
I honestly think if he didn't struggle with back pain all those years he would've probably gotten at least 5 Slams more...🤔😒😔
Backpain and mono, the scary part is even with all that, he would have gotten like 30
slams without Rafa or Nole.
@@Leo-nc3yx Even with Rafa and Nole, he could have easily had 23 or even 25 slams, with a slightly stronger mind and a bit of luck. Think about losing three matches from 2 match points against Djokovic in USO 2010, USO 2011 and Wimbledon 2019. Or the Wimbledon 2008 and USO 2009 finals. On the other hand, Nole and Rafa won several grand slams thanks to incredible, unprecedented meltdowns or injuries of their opponents in extremely tight matches (like for example the unbelievable Shapovalov self-destructions against Nole and Rafa in 2021 and 2022). It's like with all the great success, Roger was also ridiculously, almost comically unlucky in the slam race, as if the will of the heaven was strictly against him and tripped his feet whenever he had a chance to become the GOAT.
Лучшее владение ракеткой в истории. В подборке не хватает перевода мяча слева по линии с полулёта..., Федерер выполнял его просто потрясающе.

The Greatest Tennis Player in History.

yes, serbian scammer is the third, correct. clownovich is forever humiliated and disgraced and will remembered by all the adequate tennis fans as the player who 476 times weaker than the two real Kings Federer and Nadal.

06:54 Jésus 😱😱
911 operator: let me guess.... 🤦
Novak and Nadal will end up with a lot more Slams than Roger for sure. But if I want to be reborn as a tennis player, I'd like to be Roger Federer. Oh yeah.
That's hard as hell tho, we have to recreate a player like some 2k shit.
The closest it gets is Dimitrov's posture&form+Tsitsipas all-court game+Kyrgios
reflex/handskill&touch+Fognini's racket-head speed & nonchalant+Murray's grittiness,
and sadly no one comes close to having his forehand & net skills these days.
It's nice to see how Federer has changed his game in all these years. If you look at his strokes from before, he played technically quite differently - much more fluid and looser. I still believe that the change to the 98 frame has ruined his game. We all know that Federer is not the strongest mentally, but if you look at his career, then he didn't really win anything after the racket change
The racket was instrumental in his 2017 resurgence, his incredible, and now legendary "neo-backhand", his 4 wins against Nadal that year (the IW 2017 highlights from the match against Nadal are still jaw-dropping), but also his amazing attacking tennis in 2014 and 2015 (see e.g. the Djokovic match in Shanghai 2014), the SABRs, improved serve etc. Yes, it was a different type of tennis, more power-based, but still highly impressive.
Maybe he could win more if he changed earlier? 😅😅😅
@@impopquiz That's what people often say. In general, the racket improved his backhand and serve, power, stability and consistency (shanks with the older racket used to be a problem as he got older), his forehand got slightly less explosive, the bigger, heavy racket was less manoeuvrable. In general, the racket change probably benefited him.
He gives a dopamine release
Thats why I guess we are addicted
For me boom-ski is best of the lot
2:00 be like "I'm not having some Blake guy pull a winner on me" :D :D
What about the "vintage Federer" shot against De Bakker ?
My mistake, it was in Miami !

How the utter fuck do you make that??
You don't win 103 without shots like that, or even genius shot

Probably the second greatest shotmaker of all time behind only Nadal!
Nadal is not a shotmaker for most of his life tho.

Tennis died on Friday 23rd September 2022
ur mom died that day
What is sad for Federer is being born in the same era as Nadal and Djokovic. It's crazy how the level difference shows up. Federer does so well in the absence of competition, but simply bows down his head in front of the GOAT Djokovic and second GOAT Nadal.
Federer so lucky when he born before Rafa & Nole.
@@williejones9530 Not to mention he's 5-6 older than them, which is a huge handicap. He only started getting "dominated" by Djokovic when he was getting old, after he turned 30, and Djokovic was at the peak of his powers. Which is perfectly normal when two all-time greats play in the same era, the one who's 5-6 years older starts losing increasingly often. But the matches were typically still incredibly tight.
What happened to Federer is simply sad. He started off with a lot of hype in 2004-07, after which he was exposed as only a weak era champ. First, teen Nadal came in and dominated him like a nobody. After that GOAT Djokovic buried and erased him from all Tennis books dominating him on every tennis surface known to mankind for a full decade.
Yeah, 20 GS and 103 titles is such a hype.
@@javenue lol 50 of those 103 in atp250/500 - fitting for a weak era champ. Nadal and Djokovic towers over him in M1000 and grandslams - all without assist of weak era
