@@Saicofake Mahone was never an asshole. He was under tremendous pressure and they made sure that you knew from the start that he was forced by the company to do the terrible stuff he had to do. Later they showed what happens when you defy the company by killing his son. Even Lincoln join the company to help Michael. Mahone literally did nothing wrong.
i really don’t think so , Prison break is so great they would’ve been fine with out him . he was really just a well written character i truly think they could’ve found somebody else to play the role , people don’t give the casting & writer enough credit imo

Alex Mahone was such a powerhouse of a character. When he was a villain, he seemed to be far more efficient than Kellerman or Agent lim. He is as dangerous as them as well. Not only that, he is sharp enough to keep up with Michael Scofield and the best fighter among them all. His only flaw was his little drug problem. He is far too effective to not be important.
