Lug Nut 4x4 sells a kit to replace the enormous/heavy factory Ford kingpin Dana 60 front calipers. It basically swaps out the huge stock calipers for a smaller/lighter simpler GM single piston caliper. It's the same caliper used on many rear 14 Bolt disc conversions (JB6 or JB7). So it makes it nice having all 4 of the same calipers and same brake pads on all 4 corners of my rig.
Cheap parts store semi-metallic brake pads often times will squeal like crazy when full of dust, debris and mud. I was experiencing horrible squealing on every trail ride, so this video covers upgrading to Ceramic pads for the JB6 calipers and where I sourced them. Inexpensive ceramic pads fixed the issue and will last much longer.
