And if you're curious I would have said B tier for Jim. I took him seriously as a villain and he was sorta interesting. I'm pretty sure Amenita also forced Brandon to... non consensual acts if intimacy that are not JUST kissing. Maybe I'm reading too much in to this but there is a scene in which she pushes him on the bed, and while on top of him, she says "Let's kiss". Had it been a show for adults I bet that she would have said something else, but much with Dark Bloom the subtext it's still there.
57:18 Turning several inhabitants of Andros into mutants seems like a pretty bad thing, including Aisha's family. Add to that he looked pretty menacing when he took over Neptune's throne. Putting Tritannus underneath Kalshara is just absurd.
If the writers had the foresight to know about future seasons, I wish they'd have made Tritannus a supporting villain in season 3 similar to Chimera, as well as addressing Selina WAY earlier than season 6.

I wish they wrote that drama differently, like the fact that Bloom and Sky are engaged but they are both heirs to their thrones so what would happen if they got married. Does Layla actually want to be queen cause she made it clear she doesn't like the royal stuff. Stella and Brandon's feud made no sense.

I kinda wanted Daphne revived because she was older and would probably know more about managing a kingdom than Bloom (plus her relationship with both her parents deserved more attention). The idea for me is that Bloom could still lead, but she'd be more focused on her birth family once they've been restored. Not to mention, Aisha and Stella are the heirs, so they could be busy preparing for that. If Tritannus was used for season 3 instead, this could've filled up space for a new storyline, and I could see Musa, Tecna, and Flora rising in prominence, especially since we knew very little about the latter two.
Diaspro was never a true villain. She was just horribly betrayed by her fiancé and others who mistook her for a bad person. Sky is the true villain for cheating and lying to everyone and never confessing the truth or having remorse for his wrongdoings. He’s also a karma houdini.

However during Season 1 Sky was dating Bloom while pretending to be Brandon at the time he finally realise that he clearly is in lovedwith Bloom. But he could have told Bloom the truth about his identity and tell Diaspro the truth that he's in love with someone else before the misfortune event which force Bloom to leave Alfea and return home after she felt guilty for getting her friends into trouble as well as the Trix followed her and stole her Dragon flame. But to be fair Sky's parents are to blame too for this whole arrange married to Diaspro and have Sky and Brandon to switch their identities because of Yoshinoiya. After Sky broke up his arrange marriage to Diaspro she became bitter and jealous that she won't accept that Sky has moved on and became obesses. In Season 2 Chatta told Diaspro that there are other Princes that she could fall in love someday, but unfortunely Diaspro isn't taking Chatta's advice. I think the only reason why Diaspro is so attach to Sky because she was raise to become Sky's future wife by her parents and want to become the next Queen of Erakylon. Despite that she's a fairy herself she still acted more of a villian which made me think she should have become a witch like the Trix instead as Diaspro is cunning and devious. As shown in In Season 3, Diaspro team up with Valtor to get Sky back from Bloom by putting Sky under a dark spell to make him love Diaspro. Although the Winx broke that powerful spell at the end of episode 9 but after that Diaspro was never been seen again in the entire season 3 except that in episode 14 Sky revealed that Diaspro was banished from Erakylon and reassure everyone that they won't be seeing her again. However in season 5, Diaspro did return and the weirest thing is that she was seen in Erakylon instead not punished for her crimes and the King and Queen should haven seen Diaspro for what she is after what has happen back in season 3. I can't believe Sky's parents turn deaf I mean did the King and Queen forgotten what Diaspro had done to their son Sky back in Season 3 or have they gone soft on her. Diaspro abuse the her postion as King's special liaison just to keep Sky from Bloom but failed after King Erendor rips the emblem off of her and announces that she is no longer needed. In season 6, Diaspro team up with the Trix after they conqued Eraklyon Institute, I thought of the time that we get to see more of Diaspro in the entire season 6 but unfortunely that never really happen. Because after episode 6 she suddenly disappeared after the confront wit Bloom's sister Daphne and never been seen after this which doesn't really make sense. If she was serious about becoming the Trix's allied then we would have seem more of Diaspro at Cloud Tower along with Lazuli,Jade and Rhody and the rest of the Cloud Tower Elite. But now Diaspro reappeared in season 8 at Eraklyon Palace instead of attending still at Eraklyon Institute. What I've notice that she wasn't punished for what she had done at Domino or her scheme from Season 3 like if these event never exist in the first place. What bothered me is that Diaspro is still after Prince Sky again and this she tricking him to go on her Eracklyon misson but failed and then left at the beginning of episode 19 while riding the Black winged Unicorn Disapro saying goodbye to Sky saying that she'll be looking on their next misson together purposefully making it worse for Sky and Bloom. It's clear that Diaspro will never give up or accept that Sky loved Bloom and no doubt she'll keep coming up with another cunning devious plan to break them apart . There is one fact why Diaspro relay on tricks instead of taking down Bloom herself because her fairy form is weak, while Bloom worked hard to earn more powerful fairy forms like Enchantix, Believix, Sirenix, Bloomix, Butterflix, Cosmix and Crystal Sirenix. Which is why Diaspro won't stand a chance against Bloom. I know the upcoming Season 9 won't continued were Season 8 left off but I would liked to see Diaspro return but this time as the second main villian allied herself with the Shaman witch🤞. I mean if Diaspro worked for the Shamon Witch then she will granted Diaspro dark powers to become a full pledge witch and make her more powerful than ever before. Diaspro will kidnapped Sky and force him to marry her so she can finally become the Queen 👑of Erakylon, then there will be the final showdown between Diaspro and Bloom once and for all in the new entire Winx Club Season 9. This is just my own idea of how to put the end to Diaspro's obession of taking Sky away from Bloom once and for all.
Nice ranking, despite I slightly disagree with some of the Nemesis villains. I won’t lie, I wish they were in WoW a lot more than being killed off in each episode they appeared. I don’t think Knut should count as villain, considering he does regret his actions with the Trix and even helps the Winx in S8 on a mission.
I watched season 4 recently and I don’t see anyone really mention Gantlos stoping a speeding metro from hitting Ogron in Episode 13. I’m pretty sure Ogron would have perished and the season may as well be cut short and it’s probably what makes Gantlos my favorite wizard tho Ogron comes close too since he’s entertaining sometimes. I do agree that they aren’t individualised as much as the Trix and their dynamics with other villains.

Hey there! Just letting you know, Acheron was from S6 lol. Also, for Tinkerbell, I actually really enjoyed your commentary about her, despite she isn’t really a favorite of mine. Which do you prefer, her evil Victorian look or her good fairy look in the ending?
Winx Club is a lot like Ninjago when it comes to starting off with an antagonist that appears for muliple only develoeve into a villain of the season type story in which a new villain conviently appears after the old villain is defeated which makes the world less real. I like stories where muliple villain groups appear and the heros must balance out fighting each other having.
I think Brafilius gets more hate than he deserves. Seeing him at first I never expected him to be a threathening villain. I like him. He is a cute, and a goof-ball. And I like him. I dom’t see him as particularly “dumb” as people describe him. He’s not dumb. Kalshara just forced him to be a wizard, which he never wanted to be in the first place. He got placed in a situation not for him, and then was expected by Kalshara to know what to do - which is unfair. She is the one we should be expressing our frustrations on - not Brafilius. He’s not even an originally magic being. He’s supposed to be a comic relief villain. Which I think it’s okay sometimes. I don’t think comic relief villains are that bad actually than people make it out to be.

Before watching this, my mind was like if Valore is not here I don’t know what to tell you considering he’s like the OG villain. I don’t count the tricks as a villain, more of a rival or obstacle at this point they’re just a punching bag.

PART 1 I'm surprised more people don't complain about how the Trix are forced into muliple seasons of the show. Looking back at the show I can imagine how desperate the writers are to come up with interesting villains and they feel the need to have The Trix interact with new villains. I wouldn't mind The Trix but having the 3 of them always return with the same goals makes me feel less like characterd and more reoccurring plot devices.
PART 2 Adding to what said this is why I don't believe in arch-enemy because writers feel the need to always bring an AE back even when the hero has out grown them. To clarify an AE is different from a final boss or a rival. A final boss is a heros ultimate challenge at the end of a story, arc, or chapter while a rival is someone the character is determined to defeat or vice versa.
Feeling bitter about no S3 of WOW again. If we actually got it Babyaga could have potentially been the first great modern Winx villain. I actually would have loved to see a new Witches as her minions but they are redeemable becoming friends with the Winx like a few of them did in the earlier seasons of Winx Club. Heck just redesign Selina, Mirta and Lucy in WOW for nostalgia.

the tritannius situation trigger me so much. He could be such good, likeable villain. Because first two episodes had sub-context. Like when Aisha told that he is "psycho", when Tritannius attacked his father after his words. There's so much sub-context about life on abusive family. Remember when he transformed into monster after touching toxic waste???? this was SO symbolic. It could be a story about villain who thinks he wants to rule the world when in reality he only wants his family to love him. But noooo, he's just bad, blah-blah-blah. I stopped watching series as a kid, because family never liked me and I had some undiagnosed mental disorder, and after diagnosed with it i became just a "psycho" to them. From the series logic it's just my fault lol. What a great logic, Nick and Rainbow!

No not really. Lots of people watch cartoons at any age. I used to feel embarrassed of watching Winx club because I'm a boy and people told me that only girls watch shows like winx club but I still watched it whenever it was on because I liked it. And over time I learned that many girls and boys watched and still watch the show no matter what age. I'm 23 now and even to this day I still go back and watch shows like Kim possible, Courage the cowardly dog, Chowder, Ben 10, The proud family, Lilo and stitch the series and winx club. Shows like these always bring back good childhood memories and many people still watch these show because they're still enjoyable at no matter what age .

Before watching this, my mind was like if Valore is not here I don’t know what to tell you considering he’s like the OG villain. I don’t count the tricks as a villain, more of a rival or obstacle at this point they’re just a punching bag.

I'm surprised more people don't complain about how the Trix are forced into muliple seasons of the show.
Looking back at the show I can imagine how desperate the writers are to come up with interesting villains and they feel the need to have The Trix interact with new villains.
I wouldn't mind The Trix but having the 3 of them always return with the same goals makes me feel less like characterd and more reoccurring plot devices.
PART 2
Adding to what said this is why I don't believe in arch-enemy because writers feel the need to always bring an AE back even when the hero has out grown them.
To clarify an AE is different from a final boss or a rival. A final boss is a heros ultimate challenge at the end of a story, arc, or chapter while a rival is someone the character is determined to defeat or vice versa.

Feeling bitter about no S3 of WOW again. If we actually got it Babyaga could have potentially been the first great modern Winx villain. I actually would have loved to see a new Witches as her minions but they are redeemable becoming friends with the Winx like a few of them did in the earlier seasons of Winx Club. Heck just redesign Selina, Mirta and Lucy in WOW for nostalgia.

the tritannius situation trigger me so much. He could be such good, likeable villain.
Because first two episodes had sub-context. Like when Aisha told that he is "psycho", when Tritannius attacked his father after his words. There's so much sub-context about life on abusive family. Remember when he transformed into monster after touching toxic waste???? this was SO symbolic.
It could be a story about villain who thinks he wants to rule the world when in reality he only wants his family to love him. But noooo, he's just bad, blah-blah-blah.
I stopped watching series as a kid, because family never liked me and I had some undiagnosed mental disorder, and after diagnosed with it i became just a "psycho" to them. From the series logic it's just my fault lol. What a great logic, Nick and Rainbow!

It's unfortunate how bland and poorly thought out a lot of the villains are, the ones who do have potential are not explored and go woefully underused.

No not really. Lots of people watch cartoons at any age. I used to feel embarrassed of watching Winx club because I'm a boy and people told me that only girls watch shows like winx club but I still watched it whenever it was on because I liked it. And over time I learned that many girls and boys watched and still watch the show no matter what age. I'm 23 now and even to this day I still go back and watch shows like Kim possible, Courage the cowardly dog, Chowder, Ben 10, The proud family, Lilo and stitch the series and winx club. Shows like these always bring back good childhood memories and many people still watch these show because they're still enjoyable at no matter what age .
