Thank you. And thank you for not talking!
I am from Pakistan, and I visited SC in the summer of 1988. The Rhododendrons had finished blooming. I was told that a storm the previous year had knocked down many stately trees. I spent the day photographing the ruins, which was the centrepiece and the quarry, which was a brainwave. I have never seen such a feature. The house was closed to the public. Otherwise, it would have borne the brunt of my photographic exuberance. From SC, I went to the IPPS conference in Southampton University, where the leaders if the Horticultural Industry had foregathered. There, I had the good fortune to meet Christopher Llyod, who took me under his wing and invited me to Sissinghurst

Absolutely beautiful, better than when I went there in May 19. Thankyou. Just one thing I had to turn the sound down as the wailing music was very irritating. May just be me, I don’t know!
