    Obviously an experienced rider, who knows the track very well. Highlights the potential of the S1000RR.

      root9065 Thank you! My biggest complaint of the day with the stock gearing on the S1000rr was to tall. Id go -1 in front and +2 in the rear. Lastly the suspension I was able to get dialed in quite well, but stock shock does not have a large valve stack for adjustment.

    Awesome riding. Looked this up after considering an S1000RR. You certainly give it a good sales pitch.
    The traffic gives it even more perspective. Shame we didn't see you on your own for a couple of flying laps

    • @ridendrive

      Phenomenal track, especially these days with the brand-new pavement and updates. The BMW was pretty darn reliable. I had around 6k track miles on it and it really didn't skip a beat.

      please follow royal jordanian's tech & doitwithdan tech. they have pretty much set up their tech around to counter wind noise. And i believe doitwithdan has a separate video just to show his tech. You can get a basic idea on it, and work something out, that works for you per say. sorry if i sounded rude.

    Why the cones?

    • @ridendrive
      @ridendrive  Рік тому

      Cones were used to push riders away from the sound tower which checks the sound levels of each bike passing by as each track day has sound level requirements that must be met. The cones is frankly not the best idea and of course impedes on your lap times, but that is just what some of the organizations do unfortunately.

      Tire warmers. Otherwise you slip and slide until they heat up to operating temps.
