Great collab I discovered these ladies the same way I discovered you guys on TikTok. I agree with Uzi that a child doesn’t need £800 a month. That child is privileged. I was a single mother for many years never had that sort of money to spend. You live within your means 🤷🏽♀️.
The kid being forced into the middle of it is the problem. A child shouldn't be having to stress about these things and then when they go to their mom hear her say your dad doesn't care about you, then the things they need now become a tug of war between the parents. Since he can afford it he should get the uniforms and shoes and then have a discussion with his ex after the fact and set the boundaries there with her, not have the kid going back and forth.
Exactly or ask them to review the case and if she has failed to care for him, he moves in with you where his needs can be met first hand. She’s just taking advantage.
Are we saying that after taking him to court, when he was previously paying more he's now in the wrong for not paying for uniform after the fact? It is so complicated to raise children but sometimes people use children as pawns to gain leverage and manipulate vs actually putting the wellbeing of the child first. Maturity is so rare. £800.29 a month is a lot for one child + child benefit allowance + parent's earnings etc but of course it is on a case by case basis...😊
£800 a month is more than enough, we need to debate and start speaking about this. Let’s say she works earning £1500 a month as minimum plus the £800 that’s £2300 and if she stays in a council house that £800 could cover rent depending where you stay in uk then she has £1500 to cover the rest like food and clothing the kid. health is covered (NHS) I think she’s just spending money on her self leaving that lifestyle instagram life. Am sorry I politely send my son back to the mum or she don’t get the money and I buy everything that he needs from shoes, food, clothing and anything to do with my son. Am sure I would save me some money every other month.
This is a comment I have been looking for. In this economy too why wouldn’t she be working and earning something to add on to that 800 where the ladies say think about where he staying and all, doesn’t make sense. How can her son have a yellow shirt and cobbled shoes, what’s she using the money for? And what’s her thinking state?
WHY did she let his "clothes & shoes" get to this point when he used to give her a lot more money? Is child support her source of income? She didn't take him to court b/c her child needed it BUT because he was with someone else. He's now limited with his visits with his child due to her spiteful nature. She tried to hang him but hung herself. Her son will see her for what she is & she'll regret it. She's the worse type of "baby mother" due to the vile things she's putting in that childs head against his dad & siblings.
So if he’s giving 800 and it’s meant to be half so therefore she puts 800 also, so in summary these lot are saying a 14yo can’t survive on 1600 a month 🙃
yeah, a 14-year-old can't because of food, school, extracurriculars, and any medical issues or clothing so 1600 goes fast. Especially if uniforms are part of school and if the mom buys name-brand supplies and clothing that money is gone
@@aaliyahpope5541 if your worrying about name brand supplies ect rather than getting your son a new shirt then there in lies the problem, plus what medical issues are I paying for in London at 14 loool
@@aaliyahpope5541 and there’s no way u can eat shit and do excursions for 1600 a month that’s ridiculous……and if that’s the case then priorities are all wrong, that’s the problem in the first place
@@s.l.m8631 As a parent the father should have no issue buying a uniform its lazy to be pissy about it I say name brand because most parents do but its not a requirement.
Yall seem to be shaming the single mom. 800 is gone at the start of school uniform aside name brand school supplies, any medical issues and extracurriculars money is gone also that's part of being a parent you are a lazy parent if you get pissy about buying a uniform. Also with that attitude, I see why the mother would avoid yall like wtf.
She needs to have her priorities straight. Whether £800 a month is enough or not, her child needs to go to school and you can’t find the money amongst that £800 to buy uniform? It’s a cop out and she probably said she didn’t have enough to force her child to ask his dad
It’s not shaming her but why not pay attention to him because she seems absent too. Why doesn’t she try to have a good conversation with the guy and then they can agree on certain things? They can agree on how often uniforms can be replaced with his necessities and during that month the dad can think of adding a bit more for that time but also pay attention to how your child’s cleaning himself and stuff. His uniforms and all that, you can’t let your child go to school looking shabby and then say your present, no way.
Y’all have no idea how excited I am for this!!! My 2 top podcasts rn😭😭😭 ok lemme Watch lemme Watch!
That’s so meee😂😂😂
Thank you for supporting both of us 🙏🏾
Thank youuu 🫶🏾

This was the best. Love both podcasts together.
Thank you 🤎
No you take the mom to court and say she unable to take care of the boy and have them ask where the money going
Is this a viable solution though?

I hear your point but in this cost of living £800 on a child can go very quickly 😩

Re the guy’s dilemma about child support: he gave her MORE before unprovoked so apparently he felt his child needed more 🤷🏾♀️

Stop it. £800 is more than enough. For ONE CHILD?! A MONTH?!
I agree £800 may not stretch especially at the beginning of the school term but surely the way mum went about it was wrong by involving the child
