Their schedule doesn't get any easier. They made it thru the easiest part of the schedule. Now it's against teams that are and actually should be, ranked. Colorado had no place being ranked. And this game exposed that. Media propelled this team to being in a top 20 spot and they didn't belong there to begin with. Oregon did what they were expected and Colorado did what I expected. As someone that played college football. The biggest gaps between schools is not the skill players, it’s the big guys upfront and having depth at that position. Even Deion said it himself that he needs about 7 to 8 dawgs at the O line and D line position. To be honest he’ll need more. During the season, they have to go recruit south of the Mason Dixon line and get some beef upfront before they can compete with the elite schools.
Facts
Oregon also had the better QB.
There are plenty of big men above the mason Dixon line that are “dogs”. Well not dogs but talented human beings with fight.
Wisconsin consistently has big white men that can play OL and DL better than ANYONE
So does OSU- year after year, top big white guys from the north that go top 10 in NFL draft

Just wait till next year we’re not gonna forget about this
The only way Colorado ever makes the college football playoff will be if Deion recruits the #1 class a couple of years in a row, and those classes just so happen to coalesce into a monster team. It certainly won't come from his coaching. He's been outcoached two weeks in a row by two average coaches. For all of this "quarterbacking tutelage" that Shedeur Sanders received from Tom Brady, you'd think he'd know how to stay in the pocket and take a hit or get rid of the ball instead of running backward fifteen yards and taking a sack. This team will only regress as it loses more games. The only saving grace is the move to the Big 12, which will be little more than a mid-major conference once Texas and Oklahoma leave.

The ducks have had battles over years vs the best CFB has to offer, Auburn, Ohio state, LSU, etc... and when the ducks sniffed championships it was always them getting beat in the trenches. They can compete but had to get bigger. COL is learning this. There's levels. The ducks have been the best the pac12 has to offer overall for over a decade but often has games where they beat themselves.

Gotta admit Oregon was balling. When your offensive line is able to bully the opposition’s d line and create wide open lanes for the running game like they did, it opens up the pass game so nicely. Saw a video of Colorado mocking Oregon. They got humbled real quick
3:59 it was at THIS moment you knew Oregon was about making the Buffs look out of their league. This was a statement play. You only do this when you know the other team can't beat you. They wanted to embarass them on national television, and they did. But they also had mercy, because they took some of the starting players out of the game near the end. The score could've been well into the 70s. Lastly, the Prime Effect goes both ways. It either makes teams cower, or it makes them want to dominant you. The latter happened today.
Yep Nebraska folded but Colorado state and Oregon both brought their a game.
The "Prime Effect" is a load of nonsense. He has been outcoached two games in a row and is 0-2 in bowl games. When Colorado finishes the season 5-7, he needs to be on the hot seat. If Colorado's AD doesn't check him, I will.

Sounds like you’ve never heard of Deion Sanders. Let me explain to you since it sounds like you’re a little to young to know about history. He is humble (you need to understand what the word means). The reason people and the media gravitated to him was his personality. This has always been the case in sports. It doesn’t matter what other coaches think and want. Oregon 42 Colorado 6
Shedeur is awarded the game ball 🏈
Real Talk!!! He's unprotected out there
He surprisingly didn't inherent his father's athletic genes. He's not much of scrambler / runner at all.
@@MourningAvenger Y’all didn’t say this the past 3 weeks against TCU all you did was hype them up. No excuses
I know Colorado wasnt ready. Size is a huge thing in this game
Indeed! This IS football, and one cannot finesse one's way to a NATTY with beef on both lines. Georgia and Alabama are proof of this.
Colorado isn't "seven or eight guys" away. They're at least twenty new players and better coaching away. I'm glad this team got exposed, and I was able to profit off it. Deion Sanders cannot coach. He is 0-2 in bowl games at an inferior level of college football. We all know the real reason this team is getting undeserved attention.
Football is 1 vs 1 battles. This is where people realize there is a reason why these kids weren’t recruited by p5 schools
@@RobbieStacks90this comment is so hilarious to me seeing that this program was a 1 win team last year. Even if they are twenty guys away this is 2023 you can get 20 starters in portal and recruiting
The Offensive Line and D-Line for Oregon simply Dominated
OREGON gave them the WORST beating I’ve seen in a long time. COMPLETELY DOMINATED!!!! 😂😂😂
im glad Franklin and Nix ended up in Denver together 🔥
I expected nothing less from this game. Oregon always had a high power offense, and the defense this year is awesome, too. Colorado is building something, but they have to sure up that O line and D line as well.
"shore up"
I’ve been watching college football like it’s the NFL😂😂 I’m too invested
Lmao ion even watch football til this year and i agree 😂
Get a girlfriend then.
@@YeahCalifornia_ as a man with an old soul, thats not the easiest thing to do. Especially dealing with modern women that like their "freedom" aka sleeping left and right. So sports fills in that gap.
Who’s watching this after the twitter beef?
Blocking on both sides of the line and tackling were big differences. CU has come a long way, but they have a ways to go as well. It is fun to watch the growth in the team.
what growth?
a door mat just like the las 12
you will get steam rolled from now on
@@chrisreed869 Not sure who "you" is. I'm a neutral fan. I'm curious how you don't see starting 3-1 including a top-25 win after going 1-11 last year as growth. Everyone expected them to be overmatched vs Ducks and again this week with USC. What will be more telling as to where they are as a program are the next 3 after that.
@@bobjose5855beating asu and stanford wont be impressive. getting clapped by ucla will be funny asf tho

Great Game Ducks. Deion how is that humble PIE?
Curious as to what the talking heads who said CU was being disrespected for being 21 point underdogs think now.
As usual, out-earning their worth.
It was being disrespectful! To Oregon! CU should’ve been 40 point underdogs!
buffs got clapped 🤷 lol what else are we supposed to say
They spinning their narrative as we speak
They're gonna call Oregon's head coach racist
I laughed deep down from a good healthy place the entire game 😂🍿
Hopefully you live alone someone laughing for an entire game would be extremely annoying 🤣 Especially when CO was supposed to be the underdog like you watch much football? This shouldn’t have been a surprise. Try to keep up champ.

Oregon is an elite football program. They’re just different and get the some of the best talent. Just look at what they did to Colorados line ! The difference
Given all of the hype, you knew this was going to happen.. Ducks are on another level!.
Colorado had to go into double OT...AT HOME against a worthless CSU. Of course going on the road to Eugene was going to be lights out.
As always proud to be a Duck, Buffs should be proud too. From 1-11 to 3-1 in the first month is nothing to be shy about. It has never been about Sanders for me, I've never rooted for Colorado, and I never will, staff will not change that for me. Respect to Dieon, and hope his squad grows from this experience. GO DUCKS, on to next week!!
Prime is TRASH😂😂😂
It's Deion.
@@stormyweather9917 lmao as if I care
It was obvious both Offensive and Defensive lines of Colorado were not up to par with Oregon made the difference
Yeah there is a huge gap
Or receivers, or runningbacks or corners or linebackers or
This...when I watched them play Colorado state I knew any ranked team with a run game would run through that shaky dline
Well, I have you know that this loss is part of Prime's strategy. 😶
AND...their QB would be sacked continuously because of their shaky o-line.@@jelanifoster9315
Troy Franklin was beyond dominant today.
Oregon's O-line and D-line are both impressive. They move opponent at will.
Colorado needs to get the big boys in the weight room if they want a chance next year.
I hope Noah Whittington is OK. Last we saw he was carted off. I know Oregon has 2 other star backs, but Noah really is amazing to have on field
He's def out for season
hope he heals up fast lanning said he’s out for a couple weeks
I know Bucky has his prodigy ways with carrying the ball. But I’m almost ready to say Noah has been just as good if not better than Bucky. Can’t pass up the 4 carries for 120 somethin yards, but he’s an explosive playmaker that is fun to watch running or receiving
@@hartyman8389 100% agree. I think he's right up there with Irving if not better. Sucks he's down
They could put anyone behind that O-Line and they'd get 150 ypg easy
Colorado needed this beat down- There is nothing wrong with being confident and feeling yourself but they were going overboard-
Colorado didn’t play well at all. Taking nothing away from Oregon, but Buffs play way better than that. Ducks didn’t play the regular Buffs team today.
