Could anyone tell me how to re-install the game to get updates without sitting through two hours of re-downloading the game? Or is that the only way? I Re-install the main game file, is that what I need to do or have I been wasting time?
ALSO I am aware of the Orchid Bug. I left in the song because I usually add the songs with an Ultra. I may reupload if people really demand it lol. GJ Mick!!!
please do fix it, I feel the ultra's sound best when it has its proper notes, of course you'll have to wait till they fix the bug to fix the video but, you get what i mean
I know this is late, but yeah. I'd like a new upload after they update the ultra. Also, can someone answer me if Mick is gonna edit this? I've heard rumors of so and I don't mind. I like this musical piece but it fits more into a movie than fighting game.
I can believe robin beanland did the idle part being an original rare music composer. Rareware games music always had a certain sound I can quite put my finger on. Its dramatic, its epic, its just something theatric about it.
This theme makes me feel like I'm wearing shades at night while riding a riptor....in doors, with all the lights off...while my riptor is riding a motorcycle
This theme sounds rather disappointing to be honest, I was waiting for the hype to drop until I realised I was already 3 minutes in. The version made by Timothy Seals sounds more exiting in my opinion, but Mick did a good job nonetheless.
Makes me want to sing. LOOK! THERE'S SOME KIDS ON THE ICE! WHAT'S A DINOSAUR TO DO WHEN'S THERE'S KIDS ON THE ICE? SOMEONE SHOULD CALL THEIR MOOOOOOOOOOOOM! *wink*
i was expecting more of the classic theme to kick in, but you don't hear it until much later. and even then, theres so little of it. I really hope they allow us to change themes for the stages somehow down the line, because the older theme just felt so hardcore. seriously, how did they miss the smooth-yet-radical guitar riffs of the original? it was the main instrument for crying out loud. still a good piece though.
for some reason this almost sound like something you would hear in Twisted Metal Black still lovely regardless, like you're trying your hardest to survive an encounter with a deadly enhanced predator
Wow! This music has the mixture of Jurassic Park and Predator vibes all packed together, which makes sense since I am looking at a violent, savage and sentient killer dinosaur that could stalk anyone in the dark spooky jungle and kill them without any warning. And I have to agree with what the others are saying, if this was to be put into a Jurassic Park film, then the world of Jurassic Park would have just gotten a lot darker and more foreboding with the threat of intelligent dinosaurs taking over the earth!
7:10 so disappointed Mick cut this chorus out of the official release, he didn't even try to salvage it. I think it has a lot of potential They didn't keep the sweet retro remix at 5:15 either! dang
I think one of the reasons I struggle to appreciate Riptor's theme is that it seems a little bit like a lot of the other characters' themes. Those andean pan-pipes always make me think of Chief Thunder, but there are also very upbeat metal chords reminiscent of Cinder and Orchid, and the overall tempestuous nature of the theme suggests Spinal and Saberwulf a little, maybe even Sadira. Not much about the theme actually makes me think of Riptor. All the other characters, even Omen who I hate, are pretty much instantly recognizable; this one ends up feeling generic. Rkosmik's remix helped a lot with that, but he still had to work with what IMO was just one of the weaker compositions.
I would've liked to hear more of the flute, I thought that was a strong point in "Rumble" and would've been great for the nostalgic throwback to the original tune.
I like the idle theme, i noticed that part of it had the same part of Fulgore's KI2 theme, maybe cuz of the whole Ultratech thing. Its amazing that this was made 2 days though O.O. I think the 16+ combo part and the danger part is best in the overall theme.
I feel this theme is a little too "serious" for Riptor. I've always kind of seen her as the comic relief char of the KI games. Something that was a bit more "mischievous" in it's sound than intimidating would suit better imo. That being said, this does capture the vibe of a blockbuster movie a la Jurassic Park, which I guess what Mick Gordon was going for here. In that respect, good job once again.
I think Mick wanted to capture the thought of having this thing hunting you down, tracking you before going in for the kill, that and it's a sentient weapon.
I think the fact that many think thought that Riptor was male before seeing her KI ending (she lays eggs) was humorous itself, I don't know if it was intended to be though.
Murderous Neil Yeah, the fact that she was gender ambiguous for so long was always kind of funny. Now she's confirmed female in like six different places in KI 3 XD
I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this, but in my all honest opinion it seems all to dull. Being a KI fan since childhood growing up with Riptor as one of my mains loving her original theme. It just doesn't have all that feel a little bit yes, but her stage as well... I was expecting like a bloody laboratory or something? Like her original bloody Altair. Overall IG could've done better. Her new character model and play style is amazing though, but this update in whole wasn't worth the hype.
You do know that the ESRB has become a lot more prissy lately, right? Not to mention... how the hell would you do a bloody lab without looking like you ripped off Street Fighter? Also, whereas before Riptor made the altar her home, this time she's realized she's a wild creature, and is thus trying to escape confinement to prey on the wild. More prey to be had outside the confines of a lab, which means more food. Remember - first thing on a dino's mind is "When's lunch?"
Really? Maybe it's because I don't look at things through nostalgia tinted glasses like some people (will not name names because I'd get flakked harder than anyone would realize), but I actually thought it was rather nice. And that's especially considering that Glacius's theme is in my top 5 for Season 1 - though if truth be told, this theme beats Saberwulf's any day of the fucking week (only thing that comes that close is Orchid's theme, and she's only a notch higher than the poor mutt).
Looking back and comparing Season 3's tracks (who are 2/5 right now IMO). Gordon who did S1 and S2 hit a lot of themes (maybe Aria and the first half of Riptor could have used some work, but they were good overall). The rest of his tracks Are awesome!
I don't like Riptor's theme too much, but that doesn't mean it's a fantastic track. It hits the theme super well. Both the original and this were inspired off of the Jurassic Park soundtrack and imo, both producers nailed it. As for ARIA's theme, I'm not a fan of the clipping, but the track overall is the manifistation of hype and I love it to death. Not my favourite but it's DEFINITELY not a bad track either haha. All is subjective opinions though :)
This theme fits Riptor, i don't see anything wrong with it. Im very disappointed though by Riptor's Ultra Theme. It sounds just like Orchid's, im pretty damn sure they could've come up with something else. Something dark and foreboding like Sabrewulf's. EDIT: Nevermind, just heard that it was a placeholder.
I agree with a lot of you, this theme is underwhelming for Riptor. I think what it's missing is it's original riff. I cant tell what instrument is used for it (probably keyboard or something) but it kind of gave off this strange feeling that can only be described as reptilian. It's probably the part of the song that's most associated with Riptor aside from the intro.
I expected a style similar to Sadira and Kan-Ra's with Riptor's theme, I really did. Kinda disappointed it wasn't metal-like with guitars doing the main sounds with electronic mixes to it in the background.
actually i like the dramatical flair of this theme. sounds like "danger" and that fits Riptor really good but on the other side... it also sounds kinda a little too generic. like the idle theme though! it has a nice primitive sound
Hate to say it really but I thought the idle part would redeem this too-serious theme but sadly it didn't. Sounds like a MK or movie soundtrack plus it doesn't blend with the rest
It's certainly not the most... pleasant theme? All the other themes had some kind of rhythm or melody that made it an easy and fun listen (depending on taste). Riptor's theme is very different in that regard. That said I do think it fits. I do like when the beats get a little crazy at 7:10. It's chaotic, loud, savage... The other characters themes are meant to reflect them, but they can be listened to on their own. Riptor's theme is a much harder listen and only really seems to fit in the game environment.
Weird, it's kinda unremarkable to me... I love all the Mick Gordon stuff an the whole KI soundtrack is more than excellent, but this one jsut doesn't click for me. Still, thanks for that super fast upload RKosmik!
I still cant believe Rip is a girl. My childhood mind... shattered! I grew up thinking Rip was a badass male dino. And now as a adult just found out that its a female! My god..
8:30 right up to the start of the ultra is the only acceptable part. All that other shit needs too be changed lol. I really really am a fan of the KI soundtrack. I loved the dynamic theme of thunder and saberwolf. This theme is no where near on their levels, it feels rushed, clunky and by far one of my least favorite themes. Raptors original theme "rumble pit" was my favorite them of the old KI, this was big dissapointment, and I'm shore im not alone. Credit for trying but definatly was a let down.
Like this one the least out of all the themes, like all the others have a melody or something that's catchy and sticks with you and gets you energized for the fight. The idle theme is catchy, the new stuff not so much.
"God creates dinosaurs, God destroys dinosaurs, God creates man, man destroys God, man creates dinosaurs..."
Gabriel Reyes dinosaurs destroys man
Woman inherits the earth.
God ain't getting destroy by nothing
The Fatal Error here is that God didn't create the dinosaurs ( big secret shhh)
Man creates cybernetic dinosaurs
I don't know what's wrong with this theme. I find this theme actually suits Riptor. It gives it a daunting, predator feeling.
Love it, so much impending doom!
Its got huge Predator and Jurassic Park vibes too, thats exactly what was needed for the cyber raptor weapon!
It honestly feels more like predator to me lol in the jungle being hunted down one by one, like doesn't that sound familiar haha
And Turok
Little Fact I heard is that Robin Beanland actually composed the Idle part. Go figure!
Huh, sadly that was the first time i disliked the idle theme of a stage. Pity. :(
Could anyone tell me how to re-install the game to get updates without sitting through two hours of re-downloading the game? Or is that the only way? I Re-install the main game file, is that what I need to do or have I been wasting time?
Thanks for you hard work. Been waiting to hear this.
Robin Beanland and Graeme Norgate are musical heros of my childhood
***** urs and mine both
Even with the Orchid bug, the Ultra part sounds pretty sweet. I hope soon we'll get to hear the actual music to it.
Good news everyone, Mick Gordon has said that he will revisit and probably redo this theme in future.
Where did he say that
Woah woah woah chill down.
On his twitter, he says he HOPES to revisit this theme. There's no confirmation that this will actually happen.
I hope so...this isn't exactly fighting music...He needs to tap more into Riptor's original theme, which imo was one of the more badass themes
Thank goodness. This is more of Mortal Kombat or DC battle music
Yeah because everyone keeps bitching about how bad it is . i love this theme .
ALSO I am aware of the Orchid Bug. I left in the song because I usually add the songs with an Ultra. I may reupload if people really demand it lol. GJ Mick!!!
Im in favor of it but in the end its up to you :)
please do fix it, I feel the ultra's sound best when it has its proper notes, of course you'll have to wait till they fix the bug to fix the video but, you get what i mean
yeah riptor's ultra music is a placeholder. the devs said that itll be fixed in the next update
I know this is late, but yeah. I'd like a new upload after they update the ultra. Also, can someone answer me if Mick is gonna edit this? I've heard rumors of so and I don't mind. I like this musical piece but it fits more into a movie than fighting game.
Clever girl...
BMystic Jurassic Park reference. Clever. ;)
Who is here after the KI Tournament in Maxs channel? #BringBackKI!
Mick Gordon only had two days working on this :/ he's somewhat pissed and said that he'll fix it up a bit in the near future. props to him though!!
XGiocoolX wow that stinks but like you said props to him for releasing it ^_^
XGiocoolX
2 Days? Really? 2 Days? Is that from the 1st theme that was Dubsteppy being changed? Thats still amazing for 2 days
It drops at about 6 mins.
I agree
Makes me want to sing.
LOOK! THERE'S SOME KIDS ON THE ICE!
WHAT'S A DINOSAUR TO DO WHEN'S THERE'S KIDS ON THE ICE?
SOMEONE SHOULD CALL THEIR MOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
*wink*
I really want her Classic to get a Reptar Set. Like Bad.
Not this new one cause it's not 90s. Maybe a Dragon set.
*****
The same. :3
RIPTOR! RIPTOR! GOTTA FIND THAT RIPTOR!
They say he's a menace, but I love him! Sure, he smashes cities, but I love him!
Can't wait for Reptar vs Sadako in April!
i was expecting more of the classic theme to kick in, but you don't hear it until much later. and even then, theres so little of it. Love how you put everything into your videos man!!! Makes the experience much more awesome!
Fun Fact: Mick made this in about 2 days.
1.25x the speed sounds freaking beast!
***** Should have been at a time signature like this!
Holy SHIT dude, looking away from the weird phasing, that's some final boss-esque material right there AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAWSEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM
for some reason this almost sound like something you would hear in Twisted Metal Black
still lovely regardless, like you're trying your hardest to survive an encounter with a deadly enhanced predator

It's such an intense and suspenseful theme my arse has clenched in itself that I have shit out of my mouth.
Man you were fast, adding this to my workout soundtrack right now, thanks1
7:10 so disappointed Mick cut this chorus out of the official release, he didn't even try to salvage it. I think it has a lot of potential
They didn't keep the sweet retro remix at 5:15 either! dang
I love the little taste of her old theme that's thrown in there.
0:10 to 0:40 sounds very reminiscent of God of war themes. Ahh, good times.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
feckadoodlethe2nd" What will you do father? You can no longer hide behind the skirts of Athena."
Kyuubiroar1
I HAVE DADDY ISSUES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can actually hear bits from the first theme in the main theme. Pretty rad.
7:10 *Ultratech Intensifies* O_O
Holy shit your right! XD
This made me wanna main riptor super hard! Actually I was planning that before TJ came out
I really really want to get back into the game it looks super fun but I just need to get an Xbox One! So till then I just usually watch Max till then.
Hold onto your butts.
I just watched that week of and it made me happy to see Fulgore getting some use again.
Just the main part part from ki1...The deep trumpet part.Frecking Awsome.
Riptor is the new genetic Dino in Jurassic World, I can dream
I feel like that Beano's idle is much more impactful than the majority of the track. But still it's really good!
I like the idle theme, i noticed that part of it had the same part of Fulgore's KI2 theme, maybe cuz of the whole Ultratech thing. Its amazing that this was made 2 days though O.O. I think the 16+ combo part and the danger part is best in the overall theme.
Sounds like something out of "Twisted Metal: Black".
U should soon upload a cinder theme. That would be awesome. Glad that riptor is back!!
The danger zone part is so intense!
I actually like this theme. A lot better than I expected.
16 people were Riptor food
I feel this theme is a little too "serious" for Riptor. I've always kind of seen her as the comic relief char of the KI games. Something that was a bit more "mischievous" in it's sound than intimidating would suit better imo.

I think Mick wanted to capture the thought of having this thing hunting you down, tracking you before going in for the kill, that and it's a sentient weapon.
Jez C ^
Riptor was probably the most brutal of all the characters, her theme from KI1 emphasizes that.
Thanks man it sounds awesome!!
Nothing can match the speed of a dinosaur!
They fixed the orchid ultra music for riptors stage. He had his own ultra music now
they actually have a refrence from jurassic park for this character. one of his moves are called clever girl
I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this, but in my all honest opinion it seems all to dull. Being a KI fan since childhood growing up with Riptor as one of my mains loving her original theme. True story told right there, nuff said!!! U_U
Yeah her original theme is far better.
How DARE you express your dislike of something of the Internet! The CHEEK!
So god damn good. The parts where his classic theme plays gets me all giddy.
That momemt it makes you think it's transitioning into a remix of her original theme, and then it disappoints by not doing. SMH Iron Galaxy.
Looking back and comparing Season 3's tracks (who are 2/5 right now IMO). Gordon who did S1 and S2 hit a lot of themes (maybe Aria and the first half of Riptor could have used some work, but they were good overall). The rest of his tracks Are awesome!

Sounds like a movie score due to length and mood.
riptor is lauchend too fast.best part 7:10
This theme fits Riptor, i don't see anything wrong with it. Im very disappointed though by Riptor's Ultra Theme. It sounds just like Orchid's, im pretty damn sure they could've come up with something else. Something dark and foreboding like Sabrewulf's. EDIT: Nevermind, just heard that it was a placeholder.
You are the best, bro.
IT'S ALIIIIIIVE , RIPTOR IS ALIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE !!!
I agree with a lot of you, this theme is underwhelming for Riptor. I think what it's missing is it's original riff. I cant tell what instrument is used for it (probably keyboard or something) but it kind of gave off this strange feeling that can only be described as reptilian. man this beat is so TIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I expected a style similar to Sadira and Kan-Ra's with Riptor's theme, I really did. Kinda disappointed it wasn't metal-like with guitars doing the main sounds with electronic mixes to it in the background.
Don't mind me just here for the ultra
the KI original and the idle theme kick the main theme's ass all over this game.
K.
That really reminds of NFS Carbon Canyon Duel
actually i like the dramatical flair of this theme. sounds like "danger" and that fits Riptor really good but on the other side... it also sounds kinda a little too generic.
like the idle theme though! it has a nice primitive sound
they should change the theme in the game to play at 1.25x speed so much more epicness!!!!!
The idle portion reminds me of Sly Cooper.
I also just got a huge vibe to wrong turn 3 left for dead
i really tried hard to like this
but the only part i like is the ultra part
hidden no?
Some of this song sounds like it could fit within Twisted Metal: Black's soundtrack.
Timmy what is it?!? velociraptor. Its inside!!
This song would be perfect for a Turok reboot.
Wow, at some parts it sounds a bit like God of War
Ultratech looking to the past to preserve the future
Hate to say it really but I thought the idle part would redeem this too-serious theme but sadly it didn't. Sounds like a MK or movie soundtrack plus it doesn't blend with the rest
The ultra doings change when you continue an ultra combo without using your instinct meter!!!
I really think this theme should have stayed more true to the old riptor theme. the old riptor theme was one of the best for sure.
Has a cool Jurassic Park feel but doesn't have the same impact as the other themes.
Be prepared for some cyberdino carnage!
Clever girl......
Sh yes the cybernetic super dinosaur manufactured by ultratech
The theme for Jurassic World.
Weird, it's kinda unremarkable to me... I love all the Mick Gordon stuff an the whole KI soundtrack is more than excellent, but this one jsut doesn't click for me.
Still, thanks for that super fast upload RKosmik!
I'm guessing nobody here in the comments have ever seen Aliens vs. Predator Requiem?? Some parts in this theme is literally from that movie dude.
That ultra sounds like its on Orchid's theme
Do like this dynamic theme; still want with Riptor's ultra, and without the recapture ultra.
Bro, the wav link is missing. Could I ask you to reupload?
Another great track mic!!.Hey RK!!!! awsome awsome amsome JOB!!!!!.Give us just the hidden theme please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This reminds ne of one if the dead to rights retribution soundtracks
essa musica me lembra a musica do estágio do Spinal em Killer Instinct 2
7:10 BEST DAMN PART.
I still cant believe Rip is a girl. My childhood mind... shattered! I grew up thinking Rip was a badass male dino. And now as a adult just found out that its a female! My god..
When I watch Horror anime I think of this theme
8:30 right up to the start of the ultra is the only acceptable part. All that other shit needs too be changed lol. I really really am a fan of the KI soundtrack. I loved the dynamic theme of thunder and saberwolf. This theme is no where near on their levels, it feels rushed, clunky and by far one of my least favorite themes. Raptors original theme "rumble pit" was my favorite them of the old KI, this was big dissapointment, and I'm shore im not alone. Credit for trying but definatly was a let down.
anyone notice the rebel outpost ultra
this so good it makes me want to take a mean shit
I love this song 😆😆😆
Riptor !!!!!
I didn't know riptor was a female
Clever Girl!
New Wav with normal ultra up!
Anyone miss this ultra sound weeks in advance ? XD
Like this one the least out of all the themes, like all the others have a melody or something that's catchy and sticks with you and gets you energized for the fight. The idle theme is catchy, the new stuff not so much.
Clever Girl...
clever girl
Regina vs Riptor
Am I the only one who thinks about the Predator when hearing this? This fits it more than Riptor but its a nice track.
