Some lovely fabrics there Lucy and very good pattern matches. You do an excellent job with those 😊. I wouldn't be surprised if Luke wins - he does some amazing creations!
Thanks Emma, I do my best, it made life a lot easier when I remembered we have a costume section today! It really inspired me to want to sew something crazy!
Loved the patterns and ideas! I am also in the States and can't watch the Sewing Bee - sadly... But maybe you could host a costume party (for Halloween? or any other date)! Then at least you and your staff and followers would have an event to sew for!😃 I would be tempted to make the Simplicity Huntress
Hi Beth. It is sad, isn't that we don't get the GBSB in the US? I did manage to watch the first 3 episodes via another UA-camr, who I found completely by accident, who uploaded them. Unfortunately, the BBC caught it within 2 days and all of it disappeared. Bugger the BBC! BTW, the name of his channel had nothing to do with the GBSB. I just happened to read one of the descriptions, and voila! So keep looking, you never know!
I'm in the US so I didn't know the Great British Sewing Bee existed. I was able to watch Season 10 Episodes 1-7 on UA-cam this week, when I clicked on episode 8 yesterday, it said the video was private, and after that all the episodes disappeared from UA-cam. I'm really disappointed because I was really enjoying the series. I can't believe how little time they give the contestants to make a garment. Do you have any idea where someone in the US can watch the series? I wanted to watch all of them from season 1 forward. Thanks!
Great suggestions as always Lucy! I already have that gorgeous black, silvery floral stretch fabric from you. Camera and pics really don't do it justice. I am intrigued by the sparkly stretch denim. Does the sparkle rub off or are there lurex threads in it? Thank you!
It was a fun showcthis week 😊🧵🪡
Great pattern choices Lucy 👍🏻

Your excitement and pattern recommendations has got me thinking about a cosplay pattern and that us not my thing at all 🤗
Great pattern finds!
Thank you, that's what I love about this, it gets you digging right deep into the collection and discovering things you'd never notice otherwise
Thanks Lucy 💖

Oooooh I love that idea, I could do a UA-cam live
Instagram shows pretty good reels for different aspects of the show so it might be worth following it there .
When are you gonna make this program available to be viewed in the United States? This is a GREAT SHOW!!
