Adding pods and micobacter 7 dosing really worked for my tank

I recall being told to avoid brushing the rocks because it sends algae spores throughout the tank

The algae is already In tank. When we brush it it free’s up real estate on the rock for the beneficial bacteria to colonize. Plus after brushing we suck up the algae via water change.

Is it best to clean it that way or pull the rocks out?

Why can't you just add few tangs.

I like tangs although they aren’t the best hair algae eaters. Also it would add more bio load to the tank. Concentrating on water chemistry for now.

First I like your videos, they are very informative so I’m not looking to slam the choices made with those tanks. But this process is a way but it’s no longer the best way. There are now better ways. I understand that the customer wanted lights on right away so you didn’t have much choice but adding tons of pods would have helped.
