Loved your video of your St. Regis trip. Actually it had more of a movie feel to it rather than just a video. Great job with the filming, music and editing. I just came back from a trip up that way and I wish I had watched your video ahead of time. I plan on following your route this summer. I'm looking forward to catching up on your other videos. You and Greg make a great team.
Love the video. Nicely done. Just wish the background music had been a bit more level with the voice so I wouldn't have had to keep raising/lowering the video. But, aside from that, you inspired me to try this trip! Thank you!
Looked like a good trip. I'm starting to do some research into canoe tripping in the Adirondacks. What maps do you recommend? Any good guidebooks? What part of the season do you recommend? Are there any permits or fees that have to be paid? Thanks.👍👍
Hi Jason - Thanks for watching. The Adirondack Paddler's Guide by Dave Cilley is a must have along with the accompanying map(s) of the area you're paddling. There were no permits or fees in the Canoe Wilderness for this trip.
@@keithm329 I’ve paddled this are right after Labor Day for a couple of years. The crowds are gone, bugs are gone, and it’s still warm. How can you beat that? 😃
This was such an enjoyable video! Well filmed!! I didn't think I could fit through the "Hole to Hoel" tunnel but you guys made it work! It was great to see this trip, one of my favorite places, from your perspective!! -Mark
The hole to Hoel not only fit the boat, but floated. The only challenge was keeping the bow up on the exit so we didn't scrape. Maybe I'll see you out there!
Beautiful!

Thanks, Jake. What a great area to paddle!
Dreaming of warner weather. THank you!
It’s good to keep this in your mind, isn’t it? Days are longer. The warmth is coming soon!
This is going on my to do list
Fantastic!
Amazing video! 😀
Thanks, John! What a paddle!
Awesome. Great video Tim!
What a trip man! Good show!

I’m working on that, Craig. Good feedback and I appreciate it. Thanks for watching. The trip is well worth it. Keep on paddling!

@@OldManofNewEngland Thank you Sir. I'll check that out.👍👍
@@OldManofNewEngland This is now a goal of mine. What time of year did you go and do you have any recommendations on the best season to do this?

@@tdaisy55 sounds amazing. I was thinking late summer/early fall mainly for the bugs. Are water levels much of a concern?

Great adventure! I can't believe you paddled through that teeny culvert.
I was all ready to carry over the railroad bed, but Greg convinced me otherwise. It worked out great!!
Summit trees are growing higher, less view since the last time I was up there.
How long ago was that?
Music was way too loud, didn't show much for a portaging trip either. Glad you had fun though.
Thanks for the feedback! It was a blast.
