  • Finishing the Rose Heads! Today we are finishing the rose heads and starting on the sepals! Today is Day 182 of the Metal Relic video challenge! The script is mine, the voice is AI's.
We are continuing to build some rose inventory for the upcoming events.
There may be a better way to hold the cores, but for me, the needle nose vise grips in the vise has always worked. Now I wouldn't suggest using a good pair since they will get build up over time.
We are almost done making the heads and here you can see the layering I was previously talking about. Since I cut the sepals out of a few different sized washers, I make a good use of time and sort out the mix of random sizes that I have. I then use a small nut as a spacer to group them. I weld a line down them to hold them together for when I cut.
Previously you saw me cut these things with the bandsaw, and I almost did it again until I realized the blade was toast. I went back to using the grinder.
The next upcoming event is on July 4th from 8am to 4pm. We will be at Monument Square in Montrose, PA for the 4th of July! Come visit and see the Parade!
The next milestone for another rose giveaway is 5,000 followers on TikTok.
Be sure to follow, like, and subscribe. And as always, thank you for watching, and I appreciate you!

way more goes into these than expected. I guess people just don't consider it or take it for granted when it comes to handmade stuff.
