This is helpful advice James, thanks for sharing, I've been working on a woodland restoration in Northumberland for a few years, but haven't used a belt with the equipment, I think the hook and tongs would have been useful to have had whilst working through all of this Sitka Spruce and Larch, Cheers
You're welcome! Thanks for the comment! They are the two most useful bits of kit I have, for moving lengths of 4 foot cut timber from A to B they work together perfectly.
Very good and practical toolbelt setup. What i would personally add to this belt setup are chainsaw files (round and flat) - i am used to having them on my belt all the time. Regarding the chainsaw wrench (or the chainsaw spanner-i`m not sure what is the correct name for it), i also carry it with me in the special pocket on my protective trousers. So when the chain falls-off or gets dull, i adjust it, sharpen it and go on with my work - i don`t have to go back where i left my backpack with other things i dont use so often (spare chain, spark-plug, spare springs...)- it makes my work easier. Thanx for sharing !

You should post some videos of you working - you are not far from me.
