Super adorable, a few tweaks to furniture placement. I personally would shrink up the laundry/mud room to give extra space in the kitchen and ease up the congestion for the living room. A 3/4 bath could also be squeezed in on the upper floor. I've been looking at tiny to small houses for sometime now as I'm trying to figure out the best living space for my 4lb dog and myself. Looking at this layout is nice as the upstairs room would allow a place for my visiting kids/grandkids to stay for the weekends
i currenty reside in a 12 x16' two story, stairs against the back wall, bedroom up, kitchen down, woodstove, propane burners... have timber framed 20x20 w/loft... its all workable, one must adjust expectations of what is necessesary
I dont like that thing next to the sofa. It looks like a half kitchen. I would take that out and give more space to the livingroom. That type of stairs is a no-no, and it needs a bathroom upstairs. Otherwise, it is nice.
It's darling on the outside. On the inside, too much wallpaper going on. Need a bathroom upstairs. Stairs need a railing. Living room area way too small. Not a favorite of mine.

and i wouldnt be carrying firewood across that room, an access door from outside near that stone chimmney a necessity

Don’t like those stairs. Overall, there just isn’t enough living space, bedrooms are too small for furniture, and it only has 1 bathroom.
