Wanted to do a coil over setup on my '77 Celica but was a little tentative about the weld in type, watching this video made it seem way easier than I was imagining it. Thanks man.
thank you so much for this video... i am new to the s30 chassis and without your video i would of bought the wrong ones... im going to have to buy those for my 280Z... they are $1099 now i hope i get that discount.. LOL thank you
I’m glad manufacturers are making kits that remove some of the complexity of the modification like how the perch height is fixed. I’ve added these coil overs to my wish list. Hopefully they ship to Australia 😎
Haha, been sitting on this edit for a while now I see. The trees are green and you're in shorts with the garage open... We all know MI weather is not very nice this time of year LOL Can't believe how much extra work is needed for coilovers on this car! sheesh
Any idea what the thread pitch is for the lower welded on receiver? Wondering if that is universal and mixing and matching of components between brands is possible. Example, BC lower with silvermine upper...
I am doing the same coilovers on my Z. Have you had to expand the holes on the shock towers to expose the camber adjusters? If they can be left in one setting, what/ how did you set them? Front and rear? Thanks for your help. Like your videos👍🏻
Love the videos man, keep them coming :) Can’t wait to see more! I got the T3 coilovers years ago and I wish my camber plates looked as flush as yours. T3s are great but it’s super resto-mod looking
Have you been able to go for a drive at all? I would be interested in your opinion in a "long term" review a year later explaining how many miles were put on the car.
You're not a welder till you have gotten 2nd degree flash burn from welding in shorts. Yes the light from the arc IS that bright. EDIT: Just now thought of this but you may want to prime the insides of the tube as well since some moisture may get in there from driving.
When it comes to older cars if it's not a Ford or Chevy the engineering is kind of weird. I know the suspension setup on my classic Mini is very very weird.

It's not horrible as long as it's the slip on style!

Ah I definitely considered t3 but it was a bit too expensive for my taste. Yet another great company tho 👌
You need more heat in them welds, that's a lot of metal right there.
Awesome buddy awesome!!!
After its done...can you take a pic like hans???? With a LS meme
Lol
I like the work you did can you give me some information on those coilover please I got 280z
nice job. great recommendations
Coilovers still holding up? How many miles can you expect to get before replacing the cartridges ?
The brakes at the back look so much nicer than the ones at the front 😂
Can it be done to a 1985 300ZX (Z31) using the same coil overs brand?
Where did you get the coil overs ?
RIP Kobe Bryant
For real. Life is short especially for the best and greatest. Rip.
Do these hold up? I’m considering getting them for my z soon
I wonder how they compare to BC Coilovers

Dude, nice brakes 👍🏼. Are you Japanese?
that’s a nightmare coil over install lol
Techno toy tuning coilovers
No welding, no cutting
Fricken expensive
Does anyone have them on their car? Recommended?
