My whole house is govee and not all of them are the super expensive ones that are shown at these shows. They're the same as Philips Hue and all the others doing the same thing but for a fraction of the price usually. They're the most reliable smart lights I've ever had. Not trying to change your mind, just stating my experience as someone who exclusively buys these because they have worked for years and I haven't had to replace any of them. Not even the Bluetooth ones that are under $15.
All these things are of no real use, they can't solve any problems humans have and no I don't see how cheap plastic and LEDs suddenly make human lifes better, quite disappointed. If this is the top of the CES, then just close CES.
@joeldelica8706 no, I don't expect a tech show to solve human misery, but any new tech should bring rather a solution to a meaningful problem or really good entertaining, otherwise why bother inventing and producing and marketing it, useless stuff. It has to be useful in some way for some humans or anything on this planet :D.
@DrDurim There is an old saying. The street finds its own uses for things. Some people will find uses for rubbish tech. Some. Having said that. Yes, clearly most of the things on this CES are "meh". "Ew" even. But to expect some "Serious innovation" with profound and long term positive effects on the human condition here... is somewhat fanciful. CES is for electronic consumers. That is its main goal. It's not really meant for medical patients. Not for grandma having cancer. Or starving children in 3rd world countries. We can't rely on technology to solve complex human problems. What's the use of a miracle medical device if some people strive to make it unaffordable to the commons.
Not sure I've ever seen a product less exciting than some expensive colored LEDs lol
But they "help us rethink how lights are used 😮"
Lol just a bunch of marketing crap
Looks like a Temu trade show.
😂 real. What's is this
2:57 hearing a Brit say "Aluminum" feels like a betrayal.
This video felt like an advertisement.
It is. These companies dont let them post videos about their products unless they use the marketing terms they want them to use
it literally shows up in the midroll ads
Thanks for showing parts of The Strip outdoors in your clips. Las Vegas is her own character 📸
so, 2 videos of CES 2025 have been Ads?
Slapping AI on tech doesn't make them interesting. The Lenovo laptop is cool but seems more form than function.
Great ad read!
As Aristotle once said: do such videos really need background music? 🤷♂️
Aristotle was the biggest fan of music!
@AndroidAuthority Not on informative videos, though 😜
Wish LG had new phones to show off. Damn shame
Best of CES?
It's coming!
Oh wow a vacuum that has the fetures that have been out for years
Goodbye Facebook, instagram
2:57 Seriously.... you're not American... pronounce aluMIN Eum like a British person, because you are.....
govee is just a gimmick

I ain't gotta be mean, but then vacuum cleaners are too small. They would not clean a regular house
Show one of l e d light is not cool?Go on to the next
the real innovation is managing to make a Brit pronounce Aluminium the Gringo way 😂
also, imagine using the IoT buzzword in current year

Absolutely totally agree, my smart home light switches only need a finger to swipe up for on and swipe down for off, even works without internet 😂😂😂😂
You're expecting a technology show to solve human misery? Technological solutionism, is it? You have problems.

These are getting boring. Sorry.
This was the worst ad ever.
2:58. I'm disgusted. I've never heard an Englishman pronounce aluminium like this lmao.
Terrible
So far You aint showed us nothing to get saying about. This is one of the worst show they ever have, but that's just my opinion
CES is fine, AA is just too worried about doing ads
