I had a 8 sleep and retunred it. felt like i was sleeping on a wet sheet (its not actualy wet) but you know how when you get washing out of the dryer and its cold if its been sitting there too long. and your not sure if its wet or just cold. thats the feeling. but all night. wife and I couldnt shake the feeling of wet.. so we returned it. lucky they were super chill with the return policy.
I've had a 8 Sleep for abut 1/ 1/2 years. I love it. It doesn't "feel" wet but you can definitely feel the cool/cold (depending on your setting) and it really improves my sleep. This is validated every time I travel and don't have. It is not cheap but it is worth every penny. And a side comment, it doesn't matter how cold you keep your room, the mattress temperature when you are under the sheets/blankets, is what matters.
@@leamubiu Humans can't tell if something is wet, we don't have hygro-receptors unlike some other creatures. If something is cool however your brain may interpret that coolness to be a sense of wetness.
I can't take 8Sleep seriously. I am one of the rare people in the UK that has AC. I had it installed a few years ago. I have one outdoor unit, and three indoor units. They are made by LG, so it's a good system. The cost for me to buy it, AND have it installed, was 25% less than one of the 8Sleep systems. Nuts.
I'm constantly on the lookout for an 8Sleep competitor that doesn't take the piss with a crazy expensive price point and a subscription model. Not a chance I'm spending that much on something that is cloud dependant and the company can just brick if they feel like it.
@@ThisIsAitchand the most important thing is that it’s a subscription for your BED. Funniest thing I have heard from a tech “gadget”. A subscription for literally the most basic piece of furniture in ANY household is an auto no I don’t carry how featured up your mattress is
One of my best friends gave me a robot vaccuum as a birthday/housewarming gift last year when I moved into my current flat, and it’s genuinely improved my quality of life. I’ve got a dust mite allergy and recently adopted a cat despite my cat allergy, so having my little guy go around several times a week to keep my home minimally dusty and hairy is fantastic. My friend didn’t splurge on the self-emptying station, and frankly I’m glad she didn’t - I dislike introducing a disposable product into a system that can be fully non-disposable, and emptying the bin regularly keeps me on track with vaccuum maintenance such as cleaning the filter and removing hair from the brushes. I guess it reveals how fully in my 30s I am that I own three vacuums and am genuinely excited about all three of them, but there you go. I couldn’t recommend it enough and it’ll likely hold a price podium position as Best Present Ever for many years to come.
6:20 none of IKEA’s smart products connect to WiFi actually, they all have to connect to their hub via Zigbee, which in turn must be connected over Ethernet to your router
i have the pax closet light in my closet. i dont have the ikea hub but i have it paired to my smartthings.if you have one of the newest samsung devices they come with zigbee and matter so you can use it with them

How did the car charger improved your life quality? That you need to connect your car with a cable to the wall every time you park? How is that improving anything? Compared to what?
Apologies if it wasn’t clear from the video - compared to using the portable connector; 7kW vs 2kW charging, custom charging schedules for off-peak charging tariffs, much tidier and convenient integrated design. Hope this helps!
@@sierpusI definitely hope they do not! Induction has tons of losses, generates a lot of heat, best idea if you want to pay triple to charge your car for no reason and have a permanent giga magnet fire hazard...
Yeah $2,300 for the 3 Model is insane. Not including tax and shipping and warranty if offered. The 4 is double the price though, mind blowing. I used to sell mattresses, you would be better off buying a brand new bed with cooling gel tech and other features in my opinion. Unless youre in love with your current bed and just wanted to upgrade it to stalker obsession level love 😂
Yessir! However it’s also worth mentioning that they’ve since been acquired by Evios who have made some big operational changes and launched a new app that’s way better than the old Konnect+ app.
A good barebones soundbar brand in the US is Polk. They're out of Maryland here, but I've been more than satisfied with them for my Sony TV. For headphones, I usually just go with the AirPods Max or AirPods Pro for late nights.
Yeah, its all just him pushing affiliate links I think. The car charger is what convinced me it was all fake. The charger he's advertising is more expensive and slower than the one Tesla sells. The benefits he advertises are all things that you can do from your Tesla app already. It's a worse product in every way.
This guy called me poor in 5 different ways
hes not rich, is just a consumerism idiot, all his extra money is spent in this shti and he's gonna stay broke

Maybe the dew point in your room almost matched the mattress temp?

AC is really different from an 8sleep matress, especially because i get sick if i sleep in an ac cooled room

been wondering, does it require a subcription at all or is it just the price you pay upfront?

Subbed bc of that intro.

Do the sonos headphones work with the beam soundbar yet? I thought that for now it only worked with the arc?
