Anyone else feel sorry for Nefertiri? Being defeated and humiliated in front of her father and the court, her father rubbing it in by stating she'll protect a mere bracelet while Anck-su-namun will protect *him* then giving her fake congratulations (or what I imagine would feel like fake congratulations). And as if that isn't enough, she witnesses Anck-su-namun (her father's "protector") and Imhotep murder him in cold blood. Anck-su-namun is a major b*tch and snob too; what did the pharaoh and Imhotep even see in her? 😒 Then again, love does make people blind (and stupid).
Well, the Bracelet of Anubis IS sacred to their people, so consider it a special part of her duties as princess and possible heiress/heir apparent to the Pharaoh. And the girl loves her father very much, so she was ready and willing albeit reluctant to accept Anck-su-namun as her stepmother despite their bully-rival relationship, because she makes her father happy. So naturally she would be horrified to see the woman her father loved cheat on him and then murder him in cold blood with help from the man he trusted the most apart from his Medjai, his counselors, and his own daughter. (Nefertiri died that night too, falling from the balcony in horror and grief.) I know that the Pharaoh loved Anck-su-namun because of her beauty and cunning and skills, and I believe he congratulated Nefertiri with real fatherly affection, despite her loss in the duel; it was just a duel (a rather excellent one at that, both girls showed their warrior prowess), and it proved that both ladies were fit to serve Egypt with their skills. And if things hadn't gone wrong on that night, Nefertiri could have had other duels in the future, and she was getting better everyday, and Pharaoh was proud of her; who knows, I bet in one of those supposed future duels she would definitely defeat Anck-su-namun. But yeah, dbzgal04 I see your point.
This is what it feels like to see your past life awake. You touch things and move them from soul memory. I can relate to Evie. UNFORTUNATELY you warn people but they still don't listen. It's annoying.
Meela Nais: stabs herself, dies.
Ankh-su-Namun: immediately possesses Meela Nais' lifeless body, continues to bleed out, dies again.
Imhotep: "NIIIIIII!!"
Evie was A Princess Over 3000 Years Ago.
amazing,epic,funny... beautiful ! bravo !

In a way I felt bad for them, they didn't get to love each other the way they wanted to, enslaved to their Pharoah and beliefs
Esta parte es la mejor de toda la película ❤❤❤❤
