Brilliant video, replaced engine, gearbox and clutch on my t4 last week to find it sounded strange when clutch pedal was up but fine when down. Heard its the clutch release bearing, although that was new too 🤔 back out again in a few days. Awesome vids man
hi mark I'm having my vw t4 2.5tdi acv dmf clutch done soon.was thinking would get the gearbox seal too.whats exact part does it come with a flange?I seem to have small oil leak maybe gearbox .steve .mine 2000 model
Hi mate,yes the seal comes with the flange,i also would change the clutch release bearing. Check out autodoc they have all the parts on there, you may need your engine number.

Yeah turns over ok,but I took the injector pump head off so there might be issue's with that👍

Hi mate i didnt drop the sub frame,obviously drive shafts removed and steering rack as i was replacing them.and just used my car strap contraption
