    Tip to de-stress: make sure you are getting 8 hours of sleep
    That was the leading cause of my hair thining: I would stay up gaming late at night, sleeping 3 to 4 hours a night and trying to catch up on sleep on my weekends off. It took 2 weeks but as soon as I abstained from my addiction and started training and sleeping 8 to 10 hours a night again consistently my hair grew back to its normal thickness.
    Watch your caffeine consumption too: it blocks your body's ability to process the chemical element selenium responsible for skin, hair and nail health. Probably best to quit caffeine too

    • @oreo598
      @oreo598 3 роки тому +40

      I had the exact same issue, i would game or go on twitch for 8-10 hours a day. I had to stop this because i wanted to paint my room, had to disconnect all entertainment appliances to my room, because of me being a noob at painting it is taking forever me to paint my walls, at least this giving me 8 hours of sleep now 😂 😂and now i am noticing in my receded area, baby hair coming out!

    My hair had started falling out like crazy. I mean, it was everywhere, all the time, and it filled the drain more than I had ever seen! For me, two things stopped my hair falling out. One, I stopped using Selsun Blue with selenium. Boom. Within about a week, hair stopped falling out. (I had read that the selenium could cause hair to fall out excessively, and in my case, it seems that was the problem. Funny, I was only using it because I did really like how it made my hair itself do, not because I had dandruff or dry scalp.) And second, I started 2000 mg fish oil daily, and I soon began to grow lots of new baby hair around my hairline. My hair does not seem thicker, but it has stopped getting thinner. However, by starting the two interventions at the same time, I have no way to determine if stopping the old shampoo, or starting the fish oil, or both together, is the reason my hair stopped falling out.

    I use Nutrafol, bondiboost growth system which they also offer procapil for hair growth and my hair was thinning like crazy and now it’s thick as it was when I was a teen and finally growing again. My issues major stress, bleaching hair, I did a strict keto diet, and washed 2-3 times a week. I also have a family history of thinning hair. I cut back to bleaching only every 10 weeks washing my hair only once a week and adding the things above it took about 6 months to get where I am now. I personally don’t use Iron pills but I have read lots about iron deficiency and hair loss but my problems seems to be more stress related. Also update my hair is still getting thicker and growing but if I miss the Nutrafol for more than a week my hair loss will go from those random hairs to slowly increasing in loss. I've seen a lot of thin hair over the years due to breakage by over shampooing and damaging hair. First and easiest thing to do is skip some shampoos and only use a wet comb or brush to detangle gently when wet. Wet hair stretches twice it's usual length and if overstretched too much it won't bounce back, it'll break. Also keratin!! Lots of keratin.

    I've tried some of your suggestions and they really do help. My hair thinned a lot during some high-stress life events (horrible job and a terminally ill parent). I'd guess 20% of the hair on my crown had shed. I was horrified. I started treating my scalp with rosemary AND peppermint oils diluted in a carrier 2-3 times per week, leaving it on for about 30 minutes before showering. My hairstylist suggested massaging my scalp a couple times per day to improve circulation plus adding a dandruff shampoo with ketoconazole or good old Head & Shoulders twice per week. They can reduce inflammation and are mildly antiandrogenic. I focused on a healthy diet and added a B-multi with biotin and D3 along with collagen peptides for my skin. Lastly, I quit the horrible job and sadly my sweet mom passed away. The shedding subsided and in a couple months I noticed some regrowth. I've been at it for about seven months and my hair is almost back to normal. I'm grateful not to have had to try anything more expensive. Good luck to everyone!

      It acts just like minodixil except natural. It opens blood flow to the follicle. Now I realize in video he explains this. But I use the topical rosemary oil and it really does work although very strong smell whew.

    I use Jamaican black castor oil, or black cummin seed oil. Both grow hair, especially good for edges. It takes awhile with Jamaican blk seed oil but it has other properties as well. For me, cummin seed was faster and also has many other good uses. Look it up.Will try the rosemary oil as well! Why not?Good to know about natural sources.

      Roseana Castillo Rosemary oil usually has to be diluted with a carrier oil, so you can mix a few drops right in with the either of the oils you already use.

    Hello Dr. Youn. I am just at the beginning of your video This is Christmas time when I look at it, so enjoy it. Here is my experience: The rosemary oil is excellent for hair treatment in all aspects. The only caution is not to use it net. Rosemary is essential oil, which has to be diluted in a carrier oil. I diluted it in a mix of coco and castor oil as follows: 2/3 table-spoon of coconut oil, 1/3 of castor oil and 3 drops of rosemary oil. This mixture applied after shampoo. But the initial treatment is a 50/50 mix of castor and coconut oil, applied over night or at least one hour before shampooing the hair. When the scalp has dandruff olive oil and castor oil is better. 3 times a week. I have now after retirement better hair than ever in my life due to this type of treatment. Of course, I have other treatments, when the scalp catch fungus, I use of a medicated shampoo, followed by a mix of 1 small spoon of baking soda in a cup of water leave in rinse. Also, when the hair has dried, I apply the leave in initial mixture of castor, coconut oils and 3 drops of rosemary Essential oil. Added to this treatment: exercise 3 times a week under sunshine, massaging the scalp in front of the sun. Having fruits, raw vegetables salads. Avoiding like sugar, nitrated meats and checking for none toxic in general.
    Rosemary oil should never be compare to Minoxidil which make some hair grow, but it disappear as soon as you stop using it. Once long ago I was feeling depressed and I was to the point of a nervous brake down. Well, I thought it was only the stress. But when I began to think about what was possibly affecting me, I noticed that topical Minoxidil was the only medicine, which I have been using for a while. I stopped its use. As a good result, the depression and my health come to normal. From there on, no more hair tricks. Because is better to have peace of mind than the defective hair that minoxidil gives.

    Ketoconazole shampoo & Caffeine shampoo work. They thicken the hair follicle. Men can add Finasteride 1mg tablet & men & women can add Rogaine. Microneedling & Derminator also work.
