The midfielder, forward and goalkeeper best players at each price point series will be complete by Monday. In between we have some other videos starting with fixtures! 😀
Maybe a bit harsh to not include Spurs in this one. They have good fixtures. Son and Kane are excellent of course if you can fit them in. Defence is a bit up in the air until we see the last few pre-season games
re:Leeds it will probably be 4231 Meslier Kristensen Llorente Cooper (new LB) Adams Roca James Aaronson Harrison Bamford Uncertainties are around James/Harrison/Sinnisterra and who will get regular starts, with 5 subs expect more younger players to be involved: Gelhardt/Summerville/Greenwood. Lots of people starting with Greenwood, but he did play DM at times last season which is no good for fpl. In Marsch's system the full backs are very important as they provide the width, Kristensen is extremely attacking. If we're tighter at the back this year then they could be an option, but as you say, there are so many good options in defence at that price point and new signings are new to the league. I'd say of all the new leeds players aaronson is the value pick, he will almost certainly play every game at CAM and his stamina is crazy so he'll be getting regular full 90s. James looked very good in pre season so far, Bamford looks rusty. Leeds are looking at signing a striker and a left back, so this will change things too. But generally we'll be more solid in defence, mainly thanks to Tyler Adams who people probably won't rave about but he is a brilliant DM.
Leeds have a sneaky good run of fixtures from GW 1-8. I think in that period Meslier is the best 4.5 GK bcs he makes lots of saves and could rack up bonus points. Yes, last season they were poor defensively, but look at the season before. Meslier's points almost equal Ederson who had 20 cleansheets. If defensively Leeds could just be decent, not great, Meslier could prove to be a bargain.
Is there any value in avoiding the most popular bench players to avoid price drops when people inevitably change strategies on early wildcards? I’d assume not with potential starters like Neco and Andreas but maybe Greenwood is better to avoid as a third sub?
Jesse Marsh will likely start with 4222 or 442 diamond, deep fullbacks and inverted wingers (left foot on right, right on left). New signing Kristensen looks solid right back with Ayling to back up. Two strikers means pat will start on the right striker position (with Geldhart as back up) and we're still actively pursuing another striker and a left back. New signings Adams and Roca look good to start in midfield as a single or double pivot. We have seen some weakness in wide areas in preseason due to the narrow formation. So defensively there are still issues. But on the attacking side we have bolstered with new signings Aaronson (creative midfielder) and Sinsterra (right footed winger) to provide competition to Rodrigo, Dan James, Harrison, Klich. Harrison's position is solid in the first team but he could play left back, right wing or left wing depending on recruitment. Dallas is out until probably Christmas period.
@@mynamesjeff9280 no is the short answer but at current he's second choice striker (pending any new signings). If we do not sign another striker he could play on the left of a front two or backup Bamford in a 4231 as a lone striker. Even if we sign another striker he's still backup to Bamford (so he's at least got minutes this season) But if we don't sign another striker or Bamford gets injured the he becomes a starting striker. I expect Geldhart to be included in a lot of Leeds talk this season as he ended the season in incredible form and established himself as our most astounding young player In the first team.
Agree with the Wolves take, I think Sa has gone overlooked a bit by the community. Such good initial fixtures defensively and actual a chance for save points and bps compared to Mendy 🔥
Chilwell took set pieces like corners in both sides and some undirect free kicks when he did play ahead of James or Mount. so its another to consider when you need to decide between them.
Chilwell so far has looked very rusty. Obviously we've only played once on pre-season but he really wasn't on it yet. Let's see again tonight, hopefully he looks sharper. I'm definitely considering having both if Chilly starts looking like himself pre injury
I've considered Aaronson in a few of my drafts, but with Bailey emerging as a potential option for 0.5 less kinda makes me shy away from taking a punt on an unproven asset. I have Meslier though - save points galore.
As a Leeds fan I’m going aaronson, my early drafts had Sinisterra but he has looked a bit lightweight in preseason although he’s not played that many minutes to be fair. Will continue to monitor him obviously but as he’s the same price point as Rashford, who’s scoring in preseason, it’s tough to make a decent case. Christianson has looked really good in preseason and is shaping up to be a cult hero already but our defence will leak goals so probably not a good FPL pick.

The way he plays for Ukraine is going to fit right into an aggressive midfield role for Arsenal. Could be a Cooper from a couple seasons ago, maybe even better.
Meslier could be very interesting, imo. Back to back 140+ save seasons, presumably the full off-season under Marsch and a few signings will help their defense early on. For a short-term 6-8 week punt with incredible fixtures, he could easily match the likes of Mendy over that period, imo.

Sanchez isn’t that good in my opinion 😅 Tomiyasu didn’t play in pre-season and could not start in the premier league Greenwoods price will drop due to high ownership and transfers out Dasilva isn’t that good , for .5m more get Bailey from Aston Villa Kane is a great differential in ur team I have him as well but will more likely transfer him out for Haaland for the (BOU-H) fixture
As a Leeds fan, I can almost guarantee our defence will be better this season. Marsch plays a much less balls deep pressing style than Bielsa and also plays two DMs while Bielsa only played one. I still think its a big risk taking a leeds defender in FPL when you look at our CBs so I wouldnt recommend it. In terms of the attacking system, Jesse likes to play a traditional 9 (Bamford), a creative second striker (Aaronson or Gelhardt), and two wide CAMs (Sinisterra and Harrison). The reason for having the wingers play more centrally is to allow the full backs a lot more space. The only nailed on starters in that attack are Bamford and Sinisterra tho because
Manchester united being slept on atm could be interesting cheap picks throughout the whole team especially with the new style of play. Sancho could be worth a shout or even elanga who is only 5m for a united player who at the moment doesnt have any real competition on the right wing for places
I don't even think he'll read this but man, Andy's show has improved each year. Graphics, music, transitions, presentation skills, quality of everything.
Arsenal set to play Chelsea In a few days on the 23rd. This may give us some good info about which defensive and attacking options look viable from either team.
I think it’s because Raya has good fixtures for first 6-8 gw’s. And as we have 2 wildcards and free transfers during World Cup that’s why everyone is starting with Raya

Kdb shout is gonna bite you Andy, he will outscore Haaland by a mile this season especially with how nailed he is, the extra midfield points and the role he plays, he was unbelievable again yesterday in their pre season game.
How do you talk about Arsenal and not mention Odegaard? Nailed on 90 minute player. One of the most creative players in the game and 1.5m cheaper than Saka. .5 more expensive than Martinelli but he'll be in the 59 minute club a lot this season.
I love that everyone is sleeping on KDB. Full summer of rest, a bonus points magnet and set to smash his ceiling in previous seasons now he has a world class striker in front of him. Predict he ends up the highest scorer in the game.
My current starting XL - Ederson, Arnold, Cancelo, James, Chilwell, Diaz, Salah, Bailey, Neto Haaland, Jesus should i be concerned that i have 11/11 away fixtures in the first game? is this sort of unbalanced in terms of doing well one week and worse the next?
I think Robertson is probably better value for money but if you only have space for one £7m defender I'd probably just go Cancelo and pick Diaz as the £8m mid
Definitely not essential! Don't think he'd officially signed when I made this video though. He's good for sure, maybe better than Gabriel, but not sure we can say 100% better right now. I'll talk about this some more in future videos.
What’s the reason behind wishing Chelsea had more home fixtures with the easier sides in the first 6? Their away form has been better than their home form for like the last 3 seasons
@@JamesHussain82 it’s been going on for multiple seasons now though. 19/20 was when we last had a better home record but even then it wasn’t much better so didn’t count for much. From an FPL point of view, it’s better to back our away games in my opinion
I am loving this channel. Surely there is room in Sky Sports for you. I had my team all set up, but after watching a few of your videos, I scrapped it and started again. My team is based on fixtures and players who will perform. Within that, no Son. No Salah, No Kane. I think Wolves represent the best value for the 1st six game weeks. I got burnt by them last season. Wish me luck
I really don’t get the Wolves fixture hype. I think they’re bad fixtures. They have 3 away fixture in the first 5. Their home fixtures are Newcastle who looked like a real team end of last season and Fulham’s first away day back in the prem. If we were talking about a top side I’d say the away games are fine but for Wolves I see a lot of low scoring games.
Sancho seems more sensible but rashford’s price is so good this year and surely will rise in value if he hauls. For me, I’m not buying any United player yet. Just better options out there and I’ve been burned too many times! (Bruno you old sausage!)
@@theenglishman3368 no I did and I take your point, but I don’t think he’d play that advanced in an Arsenal side in midfield given the amount of attacking midfielders they have already. Generally speaking for City when he plays full back he has licence to get further up the field and plays crosses into the box. In midfield he is used much more as a pivot. If he plays in a similar position to where he plays for Ukraine he might have a slightly higher ceiling in terms of attacking returns. Though it’s worth mentioning that he only has 8 goals and 4 assists in 52 international games (not sure if he’s always played in that advanced midfield role for all 52 though) so it’s not like hes a massive threat in terms of attacking returns still.
@@sourseabakery6022 i think I'm over-thinking this but i think Mahrez is a better player and should get more goals overall but with Pep's rotational system i think Diaz will get more minutes over the next 6 games. Currently i have Diaz but i changed him from Mahrez a couple of hours ago Lol
Using xg to measure de bruyne's value is pointless. xg does not take into consideration a player's technique and anyone listed above him does not consider how gifted of a passer he is and how gifted of long distance shooter he is. I dnt worry abt de bruyne, the person I am worried about is haaland because history tells us, players take long to climatize under pep.
xG can be used to see how much a player under or over performs on finishing. It's goal threat though. So you're right. Nothing to do with passing, that would be xA
I’ve gone Salah Robbo Trent in terms of Liverpool players, but if I had another slot I think Nunez is a better option than Diaz. Plays more in the box and also a striker which has less competition for places on fpl

@@Brookzyretro Yeah if I went 1/2 of Cancelo/TAA/James probably, but proven and explosive defensive assets aren't worth dropping for no reason
hey i need help i have 2 teams i made in fantasy and now i don't know which one to choose here is the first team Gk: Raya Defenders: James, TAA, Trippier, Cancelo midfields: Salah (C), Neto, Diaz, Rashford forwards: Kane(V), Jesus the other team Gk: Raya Defenders: TAA, James, Cancelo, Chilwell, Perisic midfielders: Salah (C), Neto, Diaz forwards: Kane(V), Jesus which team should i take 1 or 2?
I remember last year the hype for Shaw was unreal. I was the only player who didn't go on the Shaw bandwagon last season and I'm glad
@@PNorm I hope it's not the same for Neto lol
@@PNorm Def mate. No matter how many clips one uploads. It's a good guidance but anything goes in football. Can I get your view on this one?
Diaz and Gabriel as defender
Or
Martinelli and Cancelo?
@@PNorm I appreciate your answer. Thank you
Cancelo + Neco Williams as a first bench option
Or
Dias + Zinchenko as a first bench option and could start in my starting 11 fpl team.
Whom should I go for
Please answer !!😫
I would say go cancelo with Williams if u don't really need the bench spot
My current Team that I cant see changing much if at all. 🔥🔥
Gk: Sanchez
Defenders: TAA, Cancelo, James, Dias, Tomiyasu
Midfielders: Salah(C), Diaz, Rashford,
Forwards: Jesus, Kane(V)
Bench: Steele, Dasilva, Andreas, Greenwood
Thoughts Andy?
Good
Sanchez isn’t that good in my opinion 😅
Tomiyasu didn’t play in pre-season and could not start in the premier league
Greenwoods price will drop due to high ownership and transfers out
Dasilva isn’t that good , for .5m more get Bailey from Aston Villa
Kane is a great differential in ur team
I have him as well but will more likely transfer him out for Haaland for the (BOU-H) fixture
Looks pretty template
@@diam2434 I may change tomyiasu as they are signing zinchenko. trust in sanchez for the first 6 games, 3 or 4 clean sheets and he's worth it.
@@cri99ymc62 If Zinchenko only plays as an 8 in Arsenal’s starting 11 he will be 🔥
Should I personally take the risk and go for him ?
The only nailed on starters in that attack are Bamford and Sinisterra tho because
Has Sinisterra even started a pre-season game?
Manchester united being slept on atm could be interesting cheap picks throughout the whole team especially with the new style of play. Sancho could be worth a shout or even elanga who is only 5m for a united player who at the moment doesnt have any real competition on the right wing for places
I don't even think he'll read this but man, Andy's show has improved each year. Graphics, music, transitions, presentation skills, quality of everything.
Here's me still not being happy with stuff this year 😂
Arsenal set to play Chelsea In a few days on the 23rd. This may give us some good info about which defensive and attacking options look viable from either team.
Hey Andy, just wondering if you think Liverpool players are good options?
Raya or Sanchez?
People are saying Raya but Sanchez has the same price and overall better team?
I think it’s because Raya has good fixtures for first 6-8 gw’s. And as we have 2 wildcards and free transfers during World Cup that’s why everyone is starting with Raya
Thoughts on martial and Rashford?
not sure which option is better between chilwell and sancho or robertson and rashford?
Love your content!❤️ you have helped me a lot! But should I go for saka or luiz Dias
Wolves won 4-0 tonight in pre season, Raul, Neto, Podence & Kilman scoring. 4ATB, gibbs-white heavily involved. Everything's coming together 📈
And they did indeed play 4 at the back - Neto goal and assist!
Villas first games arent half bad either. BOU (A) EVE (H) CRY (A) WHU (H)
Actually considering Watkins now
The tomiyasu slander. He's been there 1 season and was injured once 😅 yeah he was out a while but still, hardly injury prone if he has had 1 injury.
Hi Andy, current draft has TAA, Cancelo, James, Son, Salah and Kane. Is this too unbalanced???
I'm really struggling right now to decide if I want Robertson or Diaz as my 3rd Liverpool player in my team. Anyone have any thoughts?
Diaz more assist and goals
Andy can u do a 4.5m defender video ranking them I’m certain on Justin but struggling to find another
I am stuck at Robertson and Rashford or Diaz and Perisic.
Great video as usual. I joined fantasy scout. It might just be me. But i couldn't find anything on the site I could imagine might help. But in fairness they allowed me to cancel subscription before my free trial run out despite not being able to find how to unsubscribe online.
It may just be me that found the site impossible to navigate. I'm born in the 70s. But glad I got to cancel to be honest.
Kdb shout is gonna bite you Andy, he will outscore Haaland by a mile this season especially with how nailed he is, the extra midfield points and the role he plays, he was unbelievable again yesterday in their pre season game.
Hi what Spurs defender would you put in instead of Perisic that will start GW1.
Ben Davis or Romero
How do you talk about Arsenal and not mention Odegaard? Nailed on 90 minute player. One of the most creative players in the game and 1.5m cheaper than Saka. .5 more expensive than Martinelli but he'll be in the 59 minute club a lot this season.
Thoughts with Man United players? Dalot, Martial, Rashford or even Sancho?
I love that everyone is sleeping on KDB. Full summer of rest, a bonus points magnet and set to smash his ceiling in previous seasons now he has a world class striker in front of him. Predict he ends up the highest scorer in the game.
12:10 “no one is differential” instead of essential
Salah or son 1st 6 games?? Can have one or the other but I think sons itching for a hat trick
12:14 ANDY GOES CRAZY !
My current starting XL - Ederson, Arnold, Cancelo, James, Chilwell,
Diaz, Salah, Bailey, Neto
Haaland, Jesus
should i be concerned that i have 11/11 away fixtures in the first game? is this sort of unbalanced in terms of doing well one week and worse the next?
Andy as an Irish man you should know how good Nathan Collins is 😉
Please @Lets Talk FPL who to go for between robbo and Diaz
I think Robertson is probably better value for money but if you only have space for one £7m defender I'd probably just go Cancelo and pick Diaz as the £8m mid
@@LetsTalkFPL Thank you for the reply. Issue is I don’t know what other midfielders are good enough value. All seem to have big weaknesses
🔥 intro ngl
With debruyne and Diaz as main midfielders what other ones should I target ? 8 mil or less
Midfielders video coming out today!
@@LetsTalkFPL what about the forwards one ?
How many game weeks before world cup?
Zinchenko surely essential…Potentially play as an attacking midfielder who’s listed as a defender…
Definitely not essential! Don't think he'd officially signed when I made this video though. He's good for sure, maybe better than Gabriel, but not sure we can say 100% better right now. I'll talk about this some more in future videos.
Laporte is injured and Dias didnt train last night stones isnt on the us tour so ake to start the season??
@FPL 11 just found out he was ill
cucurella or kyle walker ? which one starting eleven ?
cucu is a left back tho, maybe cancelo moves to right when cucurella plays
I think you forgot to talk about Julian Alvarez of man city. He could cause rotation risk to Haaland
I'm not massively convinced he will get a lot of minutes early on but I'm prepared to have my mind changed! He can also play off the right I believe.
What’s ur code for FPL
Cancelo and Rashford>>>>> or
What do you think of Podence?
I also had Fornals in mind. I'll try go with him.
Diaz and Gabriel as defender
Or
Martinelli and Cancelo?
arsenal have 3 Gabriel's which makes this comment very confusing
@@kitchensnake649 obviously I'm referring to the player in AFC Academy
I am loving this channel. Surely there is room in Sky Sports for you.
I had my team all set up, but after watching a few of your videos, I scrapped it and started again.
My team is based on fixtures and players who will perform. Within that, no Son. No Salah, No Kane.
I think Wolves represent the best value for the 1st six game weeks. I got burnt by them last season. Wish me luck
Not sure Sky Sports will want me! 😂 No Salah is brave! Good luck
BONK up the wolves
Something to note is that Chelsea have very good away form.
Rashford or Sancho?. They both look good in pre season.
Rashford that who I am going with
Yea he looks sharp in pre season and 1m cheaper
2 goals 1 assist
Sancho seems more sensible but rashford’s price is so good this year and surely will rise in value if he hauls. For me, I’m not buying any United player yet. Just better options out there and I’ve been burned too many times! (Bruno you old sausage!)
Bernardo Silva or Harvey Barnes for 7million?
Zinchenko has a better attacking threat from wing back than in midfield for me
Did you watch him for Ukraine - obviously not
@@theenglishman3368 no I did and I take your point, but I don’t think he’d play that advanced in an Arsenal side in midfield given the amount of attacking midfielders they have already.
Neto goal and assist today!!
The guy is unstoppable this season!
Please help… Liverpool’s Diaz or Man City’s Mahrez?? 😓
Diaz
@FPL 11 Diaz is going to get more mins in first game weeks 1-6 with jota injured
@FPL 11 same can be said if Mahrez istarts on bench with pep roulette and Diaz gets hat trick
Who is on Arsenal pk?
Will CR7 start for game week 1
Who knows!
What about Son?
13 really's in total. well done. actually 15*
For a second I thought Andy was wearing a city shirt...
Dalot at 4.5?
Good option
Using xg to measure de bruyne's value is pointless. xg does not take into consideration a player's technique and anyone listed above him does not consider how gifted of a passer he is and how gifted of long distance shooter he is. I dnt worry abt de bruyne, the person I am worried about is haaland because history tells us, players take long to climatize under pep.
xG can be used to see how much a player under or over performs on finishing. It's goal threat though. So you're right. Nothing to do with passing, that would be xA
Too many tools. I'm old school but love the discussions
If sterling was cheaper at like 8m would you include him
He'd be in nearly every squad at that price
@@JoeMurphy-pg9xi I’m using the sun app and he’s the same price as the 8m players
Does anyone know Kane and Sons xGI?
I’ve gone Salah Robbo Trent in terms of Liverpool players, but if I had another slot I think Nunez is a better option than Diaz. Plays more in the box and also a striker which has less competition for places on fpl
Chelsea’s fixtures aren’t as good as people think.
Agreed. Considering it's a new defence it's risky for sure plus we don't know if they'll play a back 4 which will hurt the appeal further
Not having a Leeds defender this season will be the easiest decision I make 😆
If Kristensen was £4.5m he could be a shrewd punt if he's as attacking as last year. But not going there straight away for £5m!
I still feel everyone sleeping on Newcastle
