I'm portuguese and I watch football atentively. Knowing Ruben's work and looking at the Utd roster it strikes me as more likely that he'll try to adapt Rashford to left wingback. He's got the right side well covered with Dalot and Mazraoui. (It wouldn't surprise me that he'd try to sign Porro, from Tottenham, in the summer, somehow; considering Mazraoui can also play on the left) I think Bruno will play in the middle with Ugarte for starter. Mainoo may perhaps, in the medium run, steal the position of Ugarte. Mount is pretty much perfectly suited to be the SA on the left (like Pedro Gonçalves at Sporting). Diallo may be the best for the right. CFs are a bit below par, at the moment. He'll have to try to improve them... Who I think may suffer the most in the first few months is Garnacho, since he's seems to me a typical right footed left winger, who likes to play wide, to engage in one on one situations with the opposing Rb. And that position - assuming Amorim will indeed try and implement the 3x4x3 formation (and one should only think that, because he's played that way ever since 2019) - does not exacltly exist in this formation; and even if for mere 15 meters or so that guy is more infield, the actions required, the whole dynamic of the ball passing etc. is much diferent...

The whole of England knows it’s Manchester United’s players that aren’t good enough, yet when Amorim goes in and inevitably has a few struggles. It will be “this is the Premier League”, “this isn’t Portugal, he needs to change his style of play”. Once he clears out that dressing room of Ten Hag’s banter signings and players like Rashford, Shaw, Maguire…he should go on to do great things. But the English press will not give him the time I don’t think. They make so much money through content of United failing and Coach’s being harassed. I hope he’s ready for it. We can sit here and mock and make EtH the scapegoat for results and players brought in but the fact is he won two trophies in two seasons (one of which decimated with injuries) with a recruitment team and structure supporting him not adequate, who bought players for crazy fees that he didnt set, yet it was all his fault according to the idiotic. The club seems much better today it terms of structure, but the players and squad still isnt up to scratch, especially not suited for Amorims 343 (including 3CBs due to leave this Summer on free's), with FFP restrictions on transfers in the upcoming windows (FYI we wont sign Gyokores). Amorim is in for a tough job, especially with the dishonest way the English media acts, and the low intelligence of the English football fan.
I bloody love this guy already! So much charm and charisma, which Ten Hag was missing. It will take some time, but this man will hopefully bring United back to its previous greatness.
He’s young, he’s the right guy, just stick with him for 20 years please 😭🙏
He’s already won over most of our hearts without even managing us yet
Very likeable, humble and down to earth dude, tbf.
There is something special about this guy.The charisma and honesty by these interviews is so refreshing.Let's just hope he will have all the support he needs from fans and owners.
Wow! this is a rare sight. Very humble coach.
Mate i would be in tears if i was a sporting fan
we were...
We are 😭
We were bro 😢
They will be again 20 years with no title...They wont have another Benfica player to save them...Poor Lagartos...
We are
I have a good feeling about this coach, so humble and pure spirit…. I pray he ushers a new era of dominance at Man United !!! GGMU🙌🙌🙌
As a Man Utd fan I say obrigado Sporting, for this honest, humble man. I hope we don't ruin him. I may take to being a fan of Sporting as my second club.....especially after that result!
As a Sporting fan, I truly want to say that Man U will have the best! Please, respect him, love him, support him and he will give the best to Man United!!!
I love his Aura
I really love his level of confidentiality 🎉❤... impressive
What an honest man! Other managers would never say that those two goals are lucky goals. United got a gem!
It’s so good to see some new Honest managers like Maresca, Slot and now Amorim
“From a low level” … already bringing a reality pill to us United fans and players ✊ we are starting from scratch 💎
Hope he thrives at United, he deserves it! From a rival fan
Amorim Left SPORTING to UNITED 4-1 reason💪🏻🔥
to ruin his career.
@ Naah to ruin your fam!ly once and for all
He will leave United 4-1 reason as well.
@@Thegoodbadson LOL I'm a United fan...just a (rare) realistic one ;)
To damage his legacy 😂
Ruben already surpassed Arteta legacy
What legacy?? An fa cup
@@KevinMcGee-qg6hma manager bounced Fa cup with Aubameyang and co
I love him already. Will never choose the lazy players over him
Seems like a lovely guy.
I hope he always speaks Portuguese with Gary Cotterill.
He is so humble😊❤
The tone of the interviewer has changed after he drew the line for her not to get into a non sense discussion about dragging his team players with him to United. respect 👍
With the way this man skips this Gyokeres link to United,he will try to bring him next summer NOT in January...
He's trying his possible best to be more respectful to Sporting ❤
Sir Alex regen
Rúben Amorim is a gentleman and a magician, and of course a tremendous manager. I love MU already💚💚
'We have to play these teams in a different way, we cannot defend like this '
I love that.
I'm glad Gary Cotterill isn't interviewing him. 😂
Cautiously Optimistic I am.
As much as I loved ten hag, this guy comes across so much better the way he speaks… I’m just hoping he gets time to implement his system and get these players working.
He looks like such a classy guy. Welcome to Manchester!❤
This guy can make Old Trafford become great again. Sometimes it is not about skill or talent. Sometimes it is more like team work and motivation
The players will love him!
Highly doubt that. They'll have to work hard under him. The dinner 'lady' for one must be dreading his arrival😮
I love how he was honest at the end, “ 3:07 we will start from a low level”. He’s acknowledging the issue from the heart. Whereas when ETH was saying the same thing it sounded robotic. No emotion. Ruben has the emotion/passion and belief
Hahaha don't know how the players would take that, I can see rashy and maguire saying to themselves "who is he calling low level?"
His English is brilliant and that in its self will make a huge difference for UTD!
If the Man Utd players dont buy into him, they have to be released. Fudge the players.
Man Utd have to adapt to him. Give Amorim whatever he wants.
if this guy come to man utd and still failed...means players is the problem all this time
WoW. So intelligent yet so humble...
I love this guy man
As a Man U fan to hear our manager say we are in a low level and that at the moment he isn’t quite as good as pep whilst beating him 4-1 is a breath of fresh air, the guy is honest not making excuses or taking credit, it’s like ole but with far superior tactical knowledge
I like this man already. He is honest
Very honest and down to earth guy. Welcome to MUFC .
I am a city fan, but I am so exited for fights with this guy
Nice...
💚💚
Bold Brave United......It won't be easy but together we can be great again....GGMU
Facts 💯 💯
🤣🤡
I'm the type of fan who loves seeing beautiful football. I'm a City fan and every time Gyokeres got the ball I was excited by the threat he poses. He's so good. Quenda was also so good 🤌🏾🥶👏🏾
I love his passion
Seems like a great guy
He has the friendliness of Ole, the tactical nous of Ten Hag and the charisma of Jose Mourinho. He's exactly the man that Man United needs!!
His smile though
Charisma off the Richter scale. He has what it takes.
Very good coach. I think we will struggle in the first 20 games of him being in charge as the players will need to adapt to playing out from the back. The following season should be a great one.
Love him. Cant wait to see what he can do! Great win for sporting
I am so so sad to see him leave but I wish only the best for him. I am very grateful to see Sporting at this height. I hope that he succeeds at Manchester.
A moment of silence for Ruben. He will be going from Gyokeres to Hojlund and Zirkzee.
Hoijlund will flourish mate I don’t understand the hate
Inb4 Hojlund turns out better than Gyokeres
Lmao Calma Rúben 😂
@@Quazzii doubt but we will see
I think Hojlund maybe ok cause he's got a similar profile to Viktor I don't know about Zirkzee 🤷🏾♂️
Chelsea fan here, i like him alot very well spoken!
Good pressing is what to say from sportin💯
I am very happy with his statement, it really calms the fans' hearts & remains humble
I already love this man, the way he answers questions
this guy man he seems to just have that something
Amorim so cool & humble person... Respect him & welcome to Manchester United my man GGMU!!!!!
he really is a "Poet"
