One of the best bands in music history. One of those, who accompanied me since early youth. One of those, who were standing for something and consistently showing and expressing on so many levels. A band that hardly exists in today's boring monotony. I had the pleasure of seeing them in 2019. I think I've seen the videos from that concert a hundred times and I still have tears in my eyes. Above all, lucky to have experienced them. Thanks for sharing this great moment. Thanks Oils for the music 🙏❤️
thanks so much, Jacqi, for allowing Powdies throughout the world to share this bittersweet but beautiful moment. the songs that used to be posted on facebook walls are written in all of our hearts forever
We were there too! Whole family middle age mum and dad and our beautiful daughters 19 and 21. We all get how they have changed the world. I've seen them so many times and so sad this was the last Fun facts though, I was taught English at Pittwater High by Rob Hirst's aunt Margaret Hirst and my cousin was at university with Peter. Met him once at my aunt's place in Bowral. Small world connected by aunts.
World needs Midnight Oil now more than ever

Best song they could end with
Was brilliantly brilliant evening
Thank you
A great song, strong lyrics and a firm melody line. Technical detail, after 30 + years, Peter sings it in the same key!
Wow.
❤❤❤❤
It's been good! I'm very glad that I was there (not this show, in Europe).
